一、学情分析
四年级的学生对自然界充满好好奇心。经过三年的英语学习已具备了能正确模仿发音、拼读单词、认读简单的词组、句型的能力,并渐渐形成学习英语的兴趣。在学习本单元之前,学生积累了一定的词汇和句型,并能运用部分常见的句型来进行表达和交流。四年级的孩子具有一定的分析,判断能力,能进行简单地推理和探究。
二、教材分析
本单元是四年级下册第一模块Using my five senses中的第三个单元,本单元的教学主题是Look and see,通过描述和观察一天中不同时候太阳的位置和影子的长短, 引导学生学习相关语言知识,学会描述不同时间段太阳和影子的变化。
三、单元设计思路和依据
根据单元内容及学生认知规律,我们对整个单元进行了统整。从学生的角度出发,以学生认识影子-影子的变化-和影子做游戏-学习影子文化为主线设计了4个课时,每个课时之间层层递进,相互关联,在学习语言的过程中鼓励学生思考和探究,最终促使学生完成语言学习的同时达到语用输出和文化渗透。

(1)学生能初步感知wh和ph的发音规律并正确朗读含有这两个字母组合的单词: photo、Philip、elephant、whale、 what、white、wheel
(2)学生能够能理解和复述故事并注意动词的变化。注意动词的第三人称变化
(3)学生能够理解影子形成的原理并拓展运用
教学重点:学生能够理解并描述影子形成的原理
学生能够理解并根据思维导图复述故事,同时注意动词的第三人称变化
教学难点:
学生在描述故事时,对动词的第三人称变化的使用。
