单元教学设计框架
课题:五年级下册第5单元 Work and play
一、学情分析
五年级的学生已经具备了较强的听说能力和一定程度的读写能力,能够运用所学知识完成教学任务。他们对“周末、节假日”这些主题比较感兴趣。已知有关时间的单词:weekdays Monday Tuesday Wednesday等一星期七天的表达,已学会What do you usually do 的问答。班级小部分英语基础薄弱的同学,并未掌握好之前所学的内容,因此可做适当复习。已知相关句型:一般现在时、现在进行时。
二、教材分析
本单元是五年级下册第二模块Work and play中的第二个单元,本单元的教学主题是At the weekend,通过“周末计划”这个主题引出本课的重点句型What are you going to do this weekend I am going to …。教授学生如何用英语的“一般将来时”来询问和表达将要发生的事情。
三、单元设计思路和依据
1.以单元为整体,创设如下情境:通过与Joe的对话引入plan以及this weekend的概念,并在Ms Guo和学生之间的情境对话中进行主要的句型操练。在故事阅读中学会理解Don’t wait until tomorrow.最后联系生活实际,引导学生计划疫情结束后的活动,通过阅读Joe’s weekend plan,完成My future plan的写作。
2.以单元为整体,基于教材分析和学情分析,设计四个课时:新授课、复习课、故事阅读课和以读促写课。四个课时的教学目标和教学内容呈阶梯状螺旋上升。

教学目标:
1. 学生学习单词及词组weekend,plan,see a film, row a boat.
2. 学生掌握句型(1)用What is/are... going to do this weekend 询问别人周末打算做什么。
(2)用... am/is/are going to ...介绍自己或别人周末打算做什么。
3. 学生掌握句型What is he/she going to do this weekend
教学重点:
1. 词汇:weekend, stay, film, boat, plan, tomorrow, see a film, row a boat
2. 句型:What are you going to do this weekend
教学难点:(明确难点所在、因何而难、解难策略)
学生对“周末、节假日”的话题比较感兴趣,但在询问他人的周末计划时,如What is Peter going
to do this weekend 对第三人称的表达经常出现错误,于是本节课利用Listen and say中的情
境对话,在听说过程及老师的设问中,让学生逐步感知和理解,在情境引导学生去观察思考和发
现,促进学生语言学习能力的逐步提升。本课例还将设计了问答练习以及完成计划任务,让学生
在实际运用中去表达,情境中巩固并熟练运用核心语言。

通过提问,进一步带领学生进入故事情节中 图片、录音、提问,一步步引导学生对故事主要情节的学习和理解。 What are the children going to do this weekend. Let’s find out one by one. T:What’s Joe/Peter/Jill/Kitty/Alice going to do this weekend
带领学生完成课文练习,集体完成表格,培养学生在听录音时抓住人物、事件等关键信息的能力。 巩固Listen and say内容。 跟读课文,尝试背诵,整体输入。 Read and complete the table. Let’s check. Read and try to recite the dialogue.
