本课是PEP教材六年级下册 Unit 1 How tall are you 本单元共6课时，本课是第3课时，

1.能听、说、读、写五个形容词的比较级形式：heavier，stronger，bigger，smaller，thinner。
2.能准确灵活地运用上述形容词的比较级来描述人或物的特征差异。
3.能灵活地询问和回答体重。
4.能完成Match and say。
【教学重点和难点】
教学重点：掌握五个形容词的比较级形式。
教学难点：了解比较级形式的变化和特殊构词形式：heavy→heavier，thin→thinner，big→bigger。

【教学反思】
本部分主要学习五个形容词的比较级，“ bigger， smaller，thinner，stronger，heavier” 并要求学生
能灵活运用这五个形容词来描述人或物之间的差 异。在教学过程中，教授单词可以采用图片对比或实物对比的方式让学生直观感受词意，并理解差异;而对于句子的学习，则是通过强化训练，通过不 断地运用“开火车”训练或口语交际来说句子，并运用比较级。最后，几个特殊变化的形容词比较级， 教师要特别指导和强调。
