课题:4B Unit9 A friend in Australia
学情分析
四年级的学生已经积累了一定的词汇与一些常见的、重要的语法知识,具备了听说读写的基本技能;
月份及天气是四年级学生非常熟悉的话题,在日常生活中经常需要使用。因为了解这个话题,所以学生愿意用自己的语言去表达对一些城市的天气、穿着的看法。
学生已经学习了关于季节、天气和穿着等一些基本的单词的表达,也会使用一些疑问词进行询问,如:what, how, when等。
教材分析
本单元是Module 3最后一个单元。本模块的主题是My colorful life。其中,上两个单元分别为My day和Days of the week。而这个module起到了承上启下的作用,为Module 4 Things we enjoy作了铺垫。
单元设计思路和依据
本单元以Jill为核心人物进行展开。Jill在网络上认识了来自澳大利亚的女孩Amy. 从她们的聊天过程中,Jill发现Amy跟她一样,都是喜欢研究天气的女孩(第一课时)。因此,Jill加入了学校的气象俱乐部。俱乐部里老师向他们介绍了悉尼和北京两个城市四季的划分和天气情况,同时也解决了为什么南北半球季节会相反的问题(第二课时)。Amy发了一封邮件给Jill, 介绍了悉尼的圣诞节情况,Jill也回复了Amy有关中国新年的情况(第三课时)。Jill在妈妈的陪同下,通过手机APP, 体验了在线旅游的乐趣,了解了在不同城市不同月份不同天气的情况下,有什么活动可以参加,也知道了如何给自己选择合适的衣物(第四课时)。
