Lesson 15 Jenny’s Summer Holiday
教材分析:
本课是冀教版小学英语六年级下册第三单元第三课时。本单元的教学内容是“What Will You Do This Summer ”。本单元三个小伙伴不仅回忆了去年夏天做的事情,还制定了今年夏天的计划,所以本单元重点内容是让学生学习如何用英语描述自然,描述在夏季的活动。另外,引导学生掌握“will”构成的一般将来时态,并能运用“will”表述自己将要做的事情。
学情分析:
六年级的学生已经学习了三年多的英语,有了一定的语言基础。对于大部分的同学来说,单词和句型掌握的比较不错,也能够说出一些简单地句子,但是他们的阅读能力还有待于提高。
学生在前几课接触到了夏季的自然特点和夏季做的一些事情,本课将用“will”来描述夏季计划。
六年级的小学生思维逐渐向抽象逻辑思维过渡,具有了初步的阅读文本与处理信息的能力,是阅读理解能力发展的重要时期,本课的话题“将要做某事”是大部分学生都憧憬的假期计划,这样他们会有兴趣学习新知,所以在教学中教师要加以正确指导,从而提高他们的阅读理解能力与综合运用能力。
教学目标:
知识与能力目标:
1.掌握四会单词:lake, swim, ship。
2.能灵活运用:What will you do for the summer holiday I will...句型。
过程与方法目标:
通过谈论自己的计划和打算进行交流,使学生学习与他人合作,培养互助合作的探究精神。
情感态度与价值观目标:
学生积极安排自己的暑假计划,进行讨论交流,并在过程中体验学习的乐趣。
教学重点:
掌握四会单词:lake,swim,ship并能正确运用句型“I will...”
教学难点:
能够正确和熟练运用will谈论自己的计划和打算。
教学过程:
Step 1: Warm-up
1.Greeting.
S: Good morning,teacher.
T: Good morning,boys and girls.
(设计意图:和学生拉近距离。)
2.Free talk

(设计意图:学生猜测本课所学内容,时时抓住学生注意力。)

Step 2: Presentation
1.Free talk.
T: Before starting this lesson, answer me:
How’s the weather today /What season is it now
S: It’s warm/hot/rainy.../It’s spring.
T: After spring,the summer is coming. So the summer holiday is coming,too.
(设计意图:引出暑假)
2.Answer.
T: Please tell me what did you do last summer
S1: I play with my friends.

(设计意图:复习一般过去时,引出Jenny去年暑假做什么)
3.Read and discussion.
T: I already know what did you do last summer,so let’s see what did Jenny do Let’s read and discussion with your partner.
(出示本课课文第一幅图画,并小组讨论回答问题。)
T: Answer questions.(PPT出示问题)

S1: She went to a lake with her grandparents.
S2: She swam in the lake.
S3: She played on the beach.
(设计意图:让学生回答问题,查看掌握程度,为下个暑假做某事做准备。)

(设计意图:先播放一段关于大海的视频,让学生品味大海的魅力。)

S: Yes. We do . Because it is beautiful.
T: Good. I love it,too.This summer ,Jenny will go to the sea.She makes a plan. Look!
出示课本第二幅图片内容。Listen and read.
T: Now do you know Jenny’s plan Read it again and fill in blanks.(小组讨论回答问题。)
根据课文内容填空。
