教学目标
1、知识与技能目标:
(1)学生能听、说、读、写单词exercise ,minute, hour
(2)能够描述___is exercise ,能运用“How often do you exercise
How many minutes do you … 等句型。
(3)能理解课文内容,了解健康的生活方式,能够描述自己的运动锻炼习惯,。
2、学习策略目标:
(1) 学生能利用朗读、默读、寻读等阅读策略来阅读文本。
(2) 学生能积极与同伴合作,增强小组合作意识,共同完成任务;
(3)教学过程中运用情景教学法、任务型教学法,激发学生学习兴趣,创设情景,学生学会用英语做事情,积极运用所学英语进行表达和交流。
3、情感态度目标:
1.通过歌曲,游戏等活动,使学生能体会到英语学习的乐趣。
2.通过小组活动,加强学生的合作意识。
3.倡导全民运动锻炼“我运动,我健康”,享受运动带来的乐趣。

Class Opening and review
Warming up :Enjoy a song “Are you strong
Greetings and free talk : “How can we be healthy and strong
Ss:First we always eat breakfast ,then eat more fruit and vegetables , play sports every day .
T: How often do you eat fruit How often do you eat vegetables What sports do you play
Ss :I play basketball . I play football .
Teacher divide the class into two teams :Football Team and Basketball Team ,we’ll do exercise together ,Let’s climb up the hill ,Let’s see :Which team is faster
【设计意图】Enjoy a song ”Are you strong” 激发学习兴趣,活跃课堂气氛,使学生进入英语学习氛围。
Free talk“How can we be healthy and strong 将学生的注意力集中到教师呈现的图片上,学生的回答既复习了旧知,又能够为新知作铺垫, 并设计小组评价,阐述评价规则。。
New concept
Step1. 1.新授词汇:exercise
教师通过呈现运动的图片告诉学生“Playing sports means exercise.”
形:呈现exercise, 教师进行分音节教授;
义:借助幻灯片上的图片,教师初次输入“___ ing is exercise.”句型,并询问学生Students try to think and say :“What is exercise ”
2. Listen and read Part 1, Question:Do you like exercise Why do you like exercise 学生对于这个问题的回答一定是归于“Health”这个单元主题,适时的导入文本的主题“Exercise helps make your body healthy and strong.”
【设计意图】:通过音、形、义的过程完成新授词的讲解,学生在课堂准备环节的情绪得以保持,并且在放松的状态下自然习得; 进而情感上接受本课的主题。

【设计意图】:通过幻灯片中制作好的钟表,来完成a minute, an hour的展示。
Step2.Practice
T: How often do you exercise How much exercise do you need
师提出问题,引导学生说出 “Once a day.”,问 “How much exercise do you need ”
【设计意图】:通过问答的环节,完成文本的输入,让学生对之前的exercise得以复习,同时自然导入下一个新知的呈现。

2. Listen and answer .(part 2)

3. Listen and follow.
4. Read silently and underline the answers .(默读文本,快速找答案)处理难懂的词组:an hour of exercise watch more sports on TV , have to play sports
5. Read part 2 in pairs , then role play .
6. Students do some exercises .(课堂检测)
Step3. Production
1.Read. Part 3 Fill in the chart.
【设计意图】:利用Part 3 Let's do it!让学生小组内阅读并进行会话“How often … How many minutes … ”完成表格。之后,订正答案。
2. Make a survey : How often do you ride a bike …..? How many minutes do you ….
Step4.Consolidation and Extension
1.Let’s write : Eg: I like exercise . I ride a bike twice a week ,That’s two hours a week. I play…….
2. Show time : Choose some students to share their writing .
Step5.Summary : What have we learned 学生先谈收获,教师总结出示重点句型,回顾本课所学。
Step 6: Watch a short video: I exercise , I am healthy
【设计意图】:看运动短片视频,提倡运动锻炼,渗透情感教育。
Step7. Homework:
Write an exercise plan after class and exercise from now on. (制定一份锻炼计划,开始锻炼。)
