Increased mental stress is one of the major causes of insomnia.Today people generally work more intensely
and are under more mental stress, thus causing sleep disorders.Studies show people with higher income(收入) are more likely to sleep late because of overtime(加班), such as lawyers, business executives and doctors.
In addition, the popularity of electronics has also enriched the nightlife.Some netizens say, “I feel empty if I don't look through TikTok or Weibo before going to bed.” Retaliatory agrypnia (报复性熬夜) is also increasing among the younger generation.They say, “The only time I have is the time before I go to bed, and as
long as I don't sleep today, the next day will never come.” It forms a cycle in which people don't get enough sleep at night and feel sleepy during the day.
