讲授新课 Step III. Reading Read the passage in 3a silently and as quickly as you can to catch the main meaning. Answer the question :Do you think it comes from a newspaper or a book How do you know Read the passage carefully and silently to find the specific ideas .And finish the tasks in 3b. Read aloud. First pronounce the new words aloud according to the phonetic symbols by themselves , then check their pronunciation , and offer help if necessary . How to use “should”. 情态动词should和can , may , must 一样,没有人称和数的变化,有词意,但都不能单独作谓语,必须和后面的动词原型一起构成谓语,但都不能单独作谓语。常用来表示建议或命令等。 You should work harder. 你应该更努力地工作。 注意: 常用句型“You should/shouldn’t do sth”表示 “建议某人(不)做某事”。其他表示“建议”的句型还有:Why not do sth /Why don’t you do sth /How about doing sth /What about doing sth /It’s a good idea to do sth \You’d better do sth should作为情态动词用,常常表示意外、惊奇、不能理解等,有“竟会”的意思。 eg:How should I know 我则会么知道? should有时表示当做或发生的事情。eg:We should help each other. 我们应当互相帮助。 我们在使用是要注意以下几点:用于表示“应该”或“不应该”的概念。此时常常指长辈教导或责备晚辈。 用于提出意见劝导别人。用于表示可能性。 学生读课文,并在黑板PPT上展示每个生词的汉语意思和重点。 读完课文后,学生根据课文填写短文。 尽力引领学生帮助处于困境的人。 让学生学会用音标读单词,学会自学,这样可以为他们的终身学习奠定基础。 检查对短文的掌握,鼓励学生有目的地阅读,掌握本文的一些语言知识点。 不仅提高学生的口语表达能力,更重要的是通过讨论,培养学生乐于助人的精神。 运用所学能用英语表达关于健康问题的对话。
