讲授新课 Step III Reading Present new words and expressions. Let the student read the words according to the phonetic symbols on Pages 114-115. Read the passage as quickly as you can , and try to answer to three questions . Q1. Why did Aron decide to cut off his arm Q2. What did he do in order to save his own life Q3. What did the book Aron wrote tell of Detail reading. Read the passage carefully and circle True , False or Don’t Know in 2c . Check the answers with the students and help them understand the passage . Read the passage and answer the questions in 2d Check the students’ answers to the questions . Step IV Reading Strategy Writers describe events in a certain order . Finding the order of the events will help you understand what you are reading . Put the sentences (in 2e) in the correct order . Then use them to tell Aron’s story to your partner . Try to add other details from the reading . Ask some students to tell the story in class . Step V After Reading Talk about Aron Ralston freely in class.
