一、 宾语从句的引导词
当一个陈述句作宾语时,宾语从句用that引导;
当一个一般疑问句作宾语时,宾语从句用whether或if引导;
当一个特殊疑问句作宾语时,宾语从句用原来的疑问代词what, who, which等或疑问副词when, where, how, why等引导。

二、 宾语从句的时态
如果主句的谓语是现在时态,宾语从句的谓语可根据需要使用适当的时态;
如果主句的谓语是过去时态,宾语从句的谓语常用相应的过去时态;
如果宾语从句表述的是客观真理,不管主句的谓语是什么时态,该从句用现在时态。
三、 宾语从句的语序
宾语从句用陈述句语序。

在复合句中, 修饰某一名词或代词的从句叫作定语从句。
引导定语从句的词叫关系词,被定语从句修饰的名词或代词叫先行词。
引导定语从句的有关系代词who, that, which, whom, whose和关系副词when, where, why。
定语从句
由关系代词that, which, who和whom引导的限制性定语从句。
1. 关系代词that引导的限制性定语从句。that在从句中作主语或宾语,可以指物,也可以指人。作宾语时,that可省略。
2. 关系代词which引导的限制性定语从句。which在从句中作主语或宾语,只可以指物。作宾语时,which可省略。
3. 关系代词who和whom引导的限制性定语从句。who和whom只可以指人,who在从句中作主语或宾语,whom在从句中作宾语。作宾语时,who和whom可省略。
4. 关系代词的特殊用法
只能用that的情况:
(1) 先行词为all, any, many, much, everything, nothing, none, the one等不定代词时。
(2) 先行词被序数词或形容词的最高级修饰时。
(3) 先行词被the only, the very, the last, the same, the last, little, few等修饰时。
(4) 当主句是以who或which开头的特殊疑问句时。
(5) 先行词既有人又有物时。
(6) 主句是there be结构, 修饰主语的定从语从句用that。
只能用which的情况:
(1) 关系代词作介词的宾语时,用“介词+which”结构。
(2) 引导非限制性定语从句指物时,多用which。
(3) 如果先行词本身是that或those时,只能用which。
关系副词的用法
when表示时间,在从句中作时间状语。
where表示地点,在从句中作地点状语。
why表示原因,在从句中作原因状语,先行词是reason。
