一、 宾语从句的引导词
当一个陈述句作宾语时，宾语从句用that引导；
当一个一般疑问句作宾语时，宾语从句用whether或if引导；
当一个特殊疑问句作宾语时，宾语从句用原来的疑问代词what, who, which等或疑问副词when, where, how, why等引导。

二、 宾语从句的时态
如果主句的谓语是现在时态，宾语从句的谓语可根据需要使用适当的时态；
如果主句的谓语是过去时态，宾语从句的谓语常用相应的过去时态；
如果宾语从句表述的是客观真理，不管主句的谓语是什么时态，该从句用现在时态。
三、 宾语从句的语序
宾语从句用陈述句语序。

在复合句中, 修饰某一名词或代词的从句叫作定语从句。
引导定语从句的词叫关系词，被定语从句修饰的名词或代词叫先行词。
引导定语从句的有关系代词who, that, which, whom, whose和关系副词when, where, why。
定语从句
由关系代词that, which, who和whom引导的限制性定语从句。
1. 关系代词that引导的限制性定语从句。that在从句中作主语或宾语，可以指物，也可以指人。作宾语时，that可省略。
2. 关系代词which引导的限制性定语从句。which在从句中作主语或宾语，只可以指物。作宾语时，which可省略。
3. 关系代词who和whom引导的限制性定语从句。who和whom只可以指人，who在从句中作主语或宾语，whom在从句中作宾语。作宾语时，who和whom可省略。
4. 关系代词的特殊用法
只能用that的情况：
(1) 先行词为all, any, many, much, everything, nothing, none, the one等不定代词时。
(2) 先行词被序数词或形容词的最高级修饰时。
(3) 先行词被the only, the very, the last, the same, the last, little, few等修饰时。
(4) 当主句是以who或which开头的特殊疑问句时。
(5) 先行词既有人又有物时。
(6) 主句是there be结构, 修饰主语的定从语从句用that。
只能用which的情况：
(1) 关系代词作介词的宾语时，用“介词+which”结构。
(2) 引导非限制性定语从句指物时，多用which。
(3) 如果先行词本身是that或those时，只能用which。
关系副词的用法
when表示时间，在从句中作时间状语。
where表示地点，在从句中作地点状语。
why表示原因，在从句中作原因状语，先行词是reason。
