教学内容
本节课的教学内容是《PEP小学英语》(供三年级起始用)教材四年级下册第六单元part A let’s talk板块,主要内容是学习如何挑选合适的衣物。
学情分析
在前面的单元学习中,学生已经掌握了关于clothes的一些内容,本节课是要让学生学会如何挑选合适的衣服,是很有趣的学习内容,但是学生对如何挑选这一概念是比较模糊的,所以本节课除了学习挑选用语外,让学生知道该如何挑选及应用到真实的场景中就是难点,需要教师的逐步引导和亲身示范等。
教学设计分析
本节课以万达广场大促销活动的背景,先让学生通过调查活动了解自己衣物的尺码,再通过学习John和他妈妈去商铺试穿鞋子的对话,掌握试穿用语,最后到万达其它商铺挑选自己合适的衣物为线索,从感知到学习最后到应用,完成本节课的内容。
教学目标:
1、知识目标:学生能准确地理解图和对话;能够听、说、认读本课时的主要句型:Can I try them on Size 6. Let’s try size 7.They’re just right。
2、能力目标:学生能使用Can I try them on Size 6. Let’s try size 7.They’re just right在挑选衣物的过程中。
3、过程与方法目标:通过猜一猜等形式的活动,培养学生的探究精神,让学生养成爱动脑的好习惯;通过小组合作找尺码的游戏,让学生了解挑选衣物时要知道自己的尺码,培养学生仔细观察的能力;通过TPR、演一演等活动,让学生参与到课堂中,亲身体验并理解对话意图。
4、情感、态度与价值观目标:学生能在小组合作中体验互相帮助的快乐;树立正确的价值观,选择合适的衣服购买。

七、教学过程:
step1 warm-up
1、greeting & tell the assessment
Greeting, and tell the assessment: Trying hard, you can get som faces for your groups. at last, who is the best one in this lesson.
2、TPR活动: Let’s sing
(设计意图:活跃课堂气氛,复习关于衣物的旧知并激发学生学习英语的兴趣。)
Step 2 lead-in
出示衣服的图片,询问学生喜欢的衣服并谈论衣物尺寸。
T: Look, are these clothes nice I like these shoes.What do you like
S1:I like the shoes\coat\......
T:Do you want it\them Look! They are\It’s here. Can you try them\it on, please
S1:….. Oh, they are\it’s too small\big.
T:You look pretty, but it’s too small\big. what size are your shoes\is your coat

T:Let me help you. Look at here. Your shoes are size……
T: What size is your coat

T:(s: size….)Your coat is size…..so if your want the clothes, we should know the sizes of our coats\shirts\sweater\pants\.....
(设计意图:通过谈论喜爱的衣物入手,在询问学生是否知道自己的衣物尺寸,初步感知size 和try them\it on ,并告知学生生活小常识:要想买衣物,就要知道自己的尺码)
2、小组活动: 相互帮助,找到适合自己的衣物尺寸。
T:Now there is a task for you: find out your size in pairs.(What size is your shirt\coat、sweater What size are your pants\shoes You can help each other like I help her\him)Finishing it in 1 minute. If you finish it, you can say ”Bingo”(见下图)
3、学生汇报自己的尺寸。
S:My shoes are size…… \My …. is size ….
T: It’s so good. You know your sizes from my class. It is better to know the things from yourselves.
(设计意图:通过相互找尺码的游戏,让学生了解自己的尺码,并通过My shoes are size…… \My …. is size ….的句式进行汇报,让学生学会描述衣物的size,告知学生要做个仔细观察的人,并为引入文本作铺垫)
Step 3 presentation
1、You know your sizes about shoes\pants\shirts\coats, what about our friend John, does he know his sizes Can you guess what size are his shoes

T:Now John and his mother are in the WanDa Plaza, bags、clothes and shoes are on sale. They are trying shoes now, let’s watch and listen what size the shoes are.
S:(watch the VCD)….
T:What size are John’s shoes
S: Size 7.
T:Are the shoes small or big

T:Is John a baby
S:…
T: But why his shoes are so small.

T:Let me tell you. (size 7=size 38)
(设计意图:通过猜测John 的鞋子尺码这一问题引入文本,出示John 和他妈妈在万达“双十一”活动中挑选商品的情景,为后面的学生活动作铺垫,同时通过对比John 鞋子的尺码和学生的尺码,让学生了解中外尺寸的差别。)
2、Watch the flash and think: At the first time, what size does John try on

T:Yes,look at John. He is not well. Who can act the John I am the John, “Oh, they are too small.”
T: Try them on, please.

(设计意图:通过观看视频后回答John第一次试穿的尺码是多少这一问题理解文本内容,让学生在此处明白在真实的语境中何时使用size,同时通过表演John穿到不合脚的鞋子时的情景,学生能说出“They are too small”。)

(设计意图:通过询问学生John 是否知道正确的尺码进一步理解文本,进一步在真实的语境中体会size的用法,通过表演John穿到合脚的鞋子时的情景,学生会说“They are just”。)
4、Listen、read and finish the missing part.
T: How does John find the right shoes, let’s listen and read. Oh, my book! Can you help me OK, listen carefully and finish them!
Shop assistant: Can I help you
John: Can I try them on Size 6,please.
Shop assistant: of course.
Mum: Are they OK
John: They are just right.
(设计意图:通过听读文本,完成缺失的部分,从而提取在交际时要用到的语言素材,为学生提供语言支架,为后面的小组活动做语言铺垫。)
(4) Role-play in groups and show. Are you the best” Action Master”
T: Now, let’s have a role-play. Who wants to be Mum Who wants to be John I’m the shop assistant.

(设计意图:通过各种形式的分角色朗读,让学生体会并学会在挑选衣物时不同人物角色的不同话语,通过模仿表演,让学生内化语言,实现从学到用的转变,为后面的活动做准备。)
