教学目标
1、知识与技能
能听说认读单词：UK，Canada， USA， China.主要通过情景对话学习介绍自己的国籍，并在实际情景中自然运用。
2、过程与方法
借助国家的国旗和标志性建筑图片，帮助学生理解和认读国家名称,
3、情感态度与价值观
培养学生乐于模仿，敢于交流。
4、教学重点、难点：
掌握Canada的单词正确读音。国家名称的读音。
5、课前准备：PPT、教学设计
教学过程
一 复习与导入
1. 教师播放歌曲音频《Let’s chant》，同学们跟着边唱边跳。
设计意图：歌曲的导入加上律动，增加了学生的学习乐趣，活跃了课堂气氛。
2.游戏：介绍卡通人物，复习上一节课的新单词及句型。
（设计意图：活跃气氛，使学生注意力集中到课堂上来。在此基础上复习单词，为本节课做铺垫。）
二 新课呈现
Step 1: Leading
1.出示2008年北京奥运会图片。 Do you know the Olympics ？
引导学生用Welcome. Welcome to Beijing, Welcome to China.
出示各国的国旗，你知道这些运动员们来自哪个国家吗？
复习国家名称。
出示国片，让学生介绍各国的运动员。巩固句型。
Be from 的 Let’s chant.
（设计意图：以旧知引入新句型，然后学生用新句型操练学以致用， 集图片、动画、声音于一体，图文并茂，更能激发学生的学习兴趣）
Step 2: Let’s talk
1.出示人物图片，让学生观察他们是谁？
2.设疑： What should we do before going home
3.引出：Pack our schoolbag，进入新授。
4.利用问题链对Let’s talk 部分进行讲解。
５.教读对话。
指自己，说teacher，再指向多名学生，引出student.让学生理解并记忆。帮助他们完成句子进行自我介绍I’m … I’m from …What about you
(设计意图：用设疑法让学生自己根据已有知识推测，启发他们思考，这样既让学生养成勤于动脑的好习惯，还进行了情感教育。)
Step 3: Practice
跟读
背诵
3.角色扮演。
请三个学生上台表演Let's talk的内容。
教师拿出朋友的照片，说：This is my friend，...He's/She's from...
让学生也拿出他们朋友的照片作介绍.
5.game教师将人物头饰,写有数字的小球,和几面小国旗放入三个不同的小箱,请一位学生上台,全班向她问候,Good afternoon.并依次提问What's your name How old are you Where are you from
学生根据抽到的头饰,小球,国旗灵活做答.
（设计意图：根据学生记忆的特点，设计了一系列听读任务，大大增加了学生的参与度，提高了课堂效率。）
Step 4: Pair work 出示课本课件练习，情境对话
（设计意图：创设一个其他的情境，让学生在新知的基础上迁移运用）
Step 5: Homework
教学反思：
在第一课时中,学生已经练习了介绍自己从哪里来的简单句型,本节课要在此基础上,练习完整形式.教师可以充分利用生活情景介绍新来的学生。激发学生兴趣。这些单词也是本节课的难点。主要采取师生、生生互相合作，学生在愉快的学习氛围中习得和学得。 学生刚开学，学习热情还比较高，继续调动他们的情绪，充分利用Let's practice 巩固、操练Let's talk的句型，鼓励学生在真实情境中会话。
