（1）学生能在插图的帮助下理解故事的主要内容，朗读故事人物的对话。
（2）学生能听、说、认读关于星期的单词和活动的短语。

培养学生懂得安排时间，珍惜时间的良好习惯。
教学重点

教学流程
Step 1. Warming up and Revision
1. Greetings. （师生间进行简单的问候。）
2. Free talk.
教师通过提问，了解学生对星期的掌握情况，为新课学习铺垫。

教师鼓励学生尽量用英语回答，也可以用中文回答。
3.Listen and chant.
a.教读Monday、Tuesday、Wednesday、Thursday、Friday、Saturday、Sunday。
b.教师播放歌谣，学生先听一遍。
c.教师再次播放歌谣，学生跟唱。（根据情况决定播放歌谣的次数.）
d.学生集体齐唱一次，再分小组进行歌唱比赛。

师提问“Today is Monday and tomorrow is Tuesday.”第一个回答问题的学生说出下一个句子，其他同学抢答。

生读课文，根据课文内容完成表格；教师个别提问，然后一起核对答案。
