Unit 3 Restaurant Lesson 2 What would you like
一、教学目标:
(一)语言能力1、让所有同学在本节课学会重点单词及短语 potato, tomato, soup, wait a minute和重点句型“What would you like I’d like...”来点餐。2、让大部分学生用所学的英语知识来交流。
(二)文化意识让学生了解中西方文化差异,尊重彼此的不同。
(三)思维品质通过问题引领,学生能够预测、归纳、合作,全面提升思维品质。(四)学习能力学生对英语有浓厚的兴趣,有明确的目标意识,通听说读写等多种策略提升英语学习效率,运用所学的知识进行英语会话。
(五) 德育范畴学生学习本课,初步体会中西方食物的区别,学会尊重不同。为学生创设民主、宽松的学习氛围,设计活泼有效的活动,激发学生的学习积极性和自信心,形成良好的学习策略。
二、教学重点和难点
1、教学重点:听懂、会说、认读和书写新单词 potato tomato wait minute soup。 学会用本课功能句“What would you like I’d like...”对话。
2、教学难点:学会运用功能句“What would you like I’d like...”来点餐。区分 potato 和 tomato
三、教学准备
教学课件、单词卡片、食物卡片、鱼骨图、手动转盘。
四、教学设计
Step 1: Warm-up(1) Greeting(2) Enjoy a chant
设计意图:通过和学生打招呼,并欣赏与本课内容有关的 chant, 让学生快速进入学习状态。
Step 2: Lead in
Now let’s learn the new lesson, L2 What would you like Play a game of sharp eyes and say the food together. Review what we have learned in Lesson 1.Who’s he This is Tom’s family. It’s time for lunch. Tom and his father want to eat noodles and jiaozi. What does mum say So they eat out.设计意图:通过游戏复习学过的食物,并复习第一课的内容,引出外出去中国餐馆吃饭的原因。
Step 3: Presentation1. Think and choose
Where will they go They will go to the restaurant. Look, This is a Chinese restaurant. This is a waitress. If it’s a male, We call him a waiter.
How does the waitress ask Watch and choose. Tom and his parents come to the restaurant, the waitress asks politely, “What would you like ” father says, “Noodles and jiaozi.” If you go to the restaurant, the waiter or waitress asks politely “What would you like ”
设计意图:通过看视频,让学生对课文整体了解,并学习重要句型 What would you like
2. Let’s guess
What would mum like Then watch and check. Learn the new words. potato, three potatoes, a tomato, tomatoes, read it one by one.
设计意图:先让学生对妈妈想吃的食物猜测,看视频核对,让学生有目的地学习。
3. Listen and fill the blanks.
Would you like some__ Yes. ___soup, please. Learn the word soup Put tomato in the soup, so It’s a bowl of tomato soup. Learn the egg soup and vegetable soup.
设计意图:训练学生的听力,通过制作三种汤,加深对 soup的记忆
4. The waitress says, “Ok. Noodles, jiaozi, rice, potatoes, and tomato soup. Wait a minute.” Teach the Phrase “wait a minute”
Let’s spell ai. Read the words tail, fail, rain, train, mail, wait, wait a minute.
设计意图:设计拼读阶梯,提高学生的拼读能力,加深对 wait的记忆。

设计意图:通过设计活动,培养学生的语言组织能力,激发学生运用所学知识进行表达的能力。
