一、教学内容
PEP小学英语四年级下册第四单元，英语书42页的有关农场动物新内容的教学。
二、教学目标
1.能听、说、读、写单词：hen、sheep、horse、cow及他们的复数形式。
2.能在实际情景中运用 “ These are….”“They’re …. ”介绍和描述动物。
3.能准确自如地运用一般疑问句与他人进行对话交流。
4.培养学生爱护动物的情感。
三、教学重难点
1.重点：四会单词hens、sheep、horses、cows.
2.难点：sheep单复数同形的掌握; 能准确自如地运用一般疑问句与他人进行对话交流。
教学准备
畅言教学系统、PPT课件、单词卡片、动物的单词卡
五、教学设计
Step 1.热身导入
1.谈话导入
T：Hello! boys and girls
Ss: Hello! Miss Duan.
T: Nice to meet you!.
Ss: Nice to meet you,too.
T: Do you like animals What animals do you like
Ss: ….
【设计目的：与学生展开互动，拉近与学生的距离】
2.游戏复习：看图影猜动物
T:let’s play a game. It’s about animals. Look at the pictures and say . (播放课件图片)
T：What are they？/What are these /What are those
Ss: They are ….
T：Let’s spell the words.(教师和学生一起拼读单词，教师将单词写在课件上)
【设计目的：复习所学动物类单词，引出新学内容】
3.歌曲激趣 ：Old Macdonald
T：These animals are in the zoo, do you know some animals at the farm Today we’ll learn “Unit 4 at the farm”.(板书课题)
T:First let’s enjoy a song （点动画，播放Old Macdonald）（师生共同拍手欣赏）
T：What can you see in his farm
Ss: I can see …。
【设计目的：通过歌曲创造轻松的学习氛围，同时进一步引出新学内容】
Step 2.呈现新知
教学新单词
1.T：There are also more animals in old Macdonald’s farm. Let’s take a bus to there.
【设计目的：创设情境，激情学习】
2.（打开畅言教学系统课本，指着奶牛问学生）T：What are they？Let’ listen. （点单词发音，学生听、跟读）
【设计目的：先听后教，让学生准确掌握发音。】
3.（使用带音标的单词卡）T:Read after me.[k][au][kau] cow [k][au][z][kauz] cows cow cows.
【设计目的：在单词教学中，先从音标入手，教会学生音标，让学生自主拼读单词，学会学习。】
4.(指着图)T:These are cows.
5.同样方式学习hens, horses, sheep
【设计目的：将单词带入句子中学习，让学生学会学以致用。】
6.学习sheep是注意强调复数形式。同时在读单词时将单词带入句子进行练习。
【设计目的：解决难点，让学生牢固掌握知识点。】
Step 3.巩固操练
1.Let’s chant
教师自编chant,对单词进行练习.
Cows, cows, milk the cows.
Hens, hens, feed the hens.
Horses, horses, ride the horses.
Sheep, sheep, shear the sheep.
【设计目的：chant读起来朗朗上口，既能帮助学生练习单词读音，又能活跃课堂气氛。】
2.Let’s listen and guess 听声音，猜动物。
【设计目的：小动物的声音学生都很熟悉，通过听声音，猜动物这样有趣的游戏，让学生牢固掌握所学单词。】
3.Draw and say
(1)T(指着畅言教学系统课本的图):These are old Macdonald’s farm. (指着板书) These are my farm. There are many vegetables in my farm . What are they？ Are these… Ss: Yes, they are./No, they aren’t. They’re ….
【设计目的：先通过蔬菜图片引出一般疑问句，进行练习，为进一步练习打好基础，解决难点。】
(2)T(指着板书):Where are my animals. OH, They are hiding here. Are these… Ss: Yes, they are./No, they aren’t. They’re ….(让学生帮忙将动物图片贴到黑板上。)
【设计目的：一方面练习对单词进行练习，另一方面练习一般疑问句。】
(3)T：Do you want to draw your own farm？Let’s work in pairs. Then share here. (先画，后展示)
【设计目的：对一般疑问句进行练习，同时通过展示，增强学生学习的自信心，实现在我价值的提升。】
4. Let’s read
T:There are many animals in our hometown. Let’s read to know them. (师生共读)
T:The animals give us so lot. So we must love animals and be friends with them.
【设计目的：让学生了解一些家乡的动物及他们的作用，认识家乡。培养学生爱护动物、保护动物的情感。】
