教学目标:
能综合运用前四课时所学的语言知识,回顾总结生日相关活动,理解生日背后的含义。
能通过阅读绘本,初步了解五个国家的生日文化,理解异同。
教学重点:
在图片的提示下,能理解绘本中的关键词句,懂得其中含义。
2. 能正确匹配不同国家及其生日活动。
教学难点:(明确难点所在、因何而难、解决策略)
学生短时间内掌握绘本内容并了解世界各地丰富多彩的生日文化存在一定困难,本课以Alice读绘本的方式,运用视频、图片、选择题等方式,让学生在多种感官体验下能初步了解世界各国生日文化之间的差异并与我国的生日文化进行对比。
运用生日沙画及诗歌,帮助学生理解生日背后的含义。
教学过程:

Nice meeting you Today, we are going to learn Unit8 Happy birthday (Period 5) Colorful birthday. ②Learning aims:出示学习目标 ③展示上节课情节 师:Birthday is the day a mother gives birth to a baby. From last four periods, we know that birthday is a big day. 生(Peter):Thank you, Alice. I have something else to share with you.
新知 识的 呈现 与归 纳 ①创设Alice阅读绘本Birthdays around the world的情境。带着问题引导学生观看绘本视频。 ②通过Alice发出的感叹,引导学生初步感知生日文化是不同的。引导学生进一步阅读。 ③带着问题分别阅读Argentina, England, India, Korea, the United States生日活动。 Step2: Presentation创设情境学习新课 ①创设Alice阅读绘本的情境 师:Let’s read the book with Alice and answer the questions: How many countries can you see in the book and what are they 教师播放绘本视频,引导学生回答问题。 Alice:So different. ②师:So different from our country and so colorful, right Let’s answer the question.
