主要教学步骤
Step 1:Warm-up and Lead-in At the beginning of the class, greet the class with a smile and say, “Today, we will begin to learn unit 2. Do you want to know the topic of unit 2 Now, let's start”. The teacher will take out a clock and put it on the desk, adjust the time and say the time to the students, ask the students to follow him. After watching the video, the teacher will ask the students questions and help them answer the questions T:The time is 6:30. Ss:The time is 6:30. T:The time is 7:45. Ss:The time is 7:45. Step 2:Presentation The teacher will show a short video about Lucy's daily activities. In the video, Lucy gets up at 6:30 and goes to school at eight o'clock. After watching the video, the teacher will ask the students two questions and help them answer the questions.(第一个问题老师自问自答,第二个问题老师问,学生答) T:What time does Lucy usually get up She usually gets up at 6:30. T:What time does Lucy usually go to school Ss: She usually goes to school at eight o'clock.(老师把时钟调到八点,用手指着时钟,帮助学生完成回答) Step 3:Practice (1)Ask the students to look at 1a, write down new words and phrases. The teacher will explain the new words and phrases to make sure the students understand them. Ask the students to look at 1a again, then match the activities with the pictures, and then check the answers. (2)Ask the students to look at 1b, then play the recording. After listening , ask the students to look at the clocks in 1a again, then match the times with the actions and draw lines from the clocks to the pictures. (3)Invite two students to role play, one as the interviewer and one as Rick. Let the interviewer ask questions. Rick will answer the questions. They will do it like this. the interviewer:What time do you usually take a shower, Rick Rick:I usually take a shower at six forty. (4)Ask the students to look at 2a and 2b and predict what this conversation will talk about.Then play the recording in part 2a, after listening, ask the students to try to complete the learning tasks in 2a and 2b, play it for the second time, in the process of playing, ask the students to check their answers, after the recording , the teacher gives the answers. (5)Ask the students to read the conversation in 2c, talk about yourself. (6)Role-play Divide the students into two groups . Let one group play the role of an interviewer and the other play the role of Scott. Then practice the conversation in 2d. Change roles and practice three times.
