.before …之前，引导时间状语从句。
辨析before与ago
二者都为“……之前”，具体区别如下：
①用作副词时，ago 不能单独使用，before可以单独使用。例如：
I have been to America before.
②“一段时间＋ago”表示从说话时刻算起的若干时间以前，常和过去时连用。
　　例如：Mark was a teacher 3 years ago.三年前马克是个老师。
Have you been to Beijing before.
花费的表达：cost ,take, spend与pay
a). spend(spent, spent),句式为 sb. +spend...(in) doing sth. spend...on sth.
b). take (took, taken), 常用句式“It takes/took sb. some time to do sth.”
　例如：It took me 5 years to learn to draw a horse in 5 minutes.
C). cost (cost, cost), 主语是物，常用句式：sth. cost(s) sb. some money
d). pay (paid, paid), 常用句式pay some money for sth.
