课题:Oxford English 4B M3 Unit10 My garden
一、学情分析
四年级学生有了一定的英语语言基础,初步形成了一定的听说读写的能力,学习策略也得到了不同程度的发展。在设计本节课时,应从学生认知规律、心理特点与生活经验出发。主要运用了直观教学法,情景教学法,小组合作教学法等,帮助学生在视,听,说,读,写等有趣的活动中,积极自主地学习英语,拓展知识能力,体验学习的乐趣。

二、教材分析
Module 4的话题Things we enjoy里包含了My garden, Children’s Day和The ugly duckling三个故事,是学生感兴趣的学习内容。本单元的主题是My Garden,主要以花园里植物的种类,生长特征以及生长过程而展开的学习内容。主题的内容生动有趣,贴近生活,学生通过本单元的学习可以增加对植物特征的了解,并培养学生的观察能力。本单元出现了新单词plant和leaf(leaves),没有指定的核心句型。文本句式涉及到了旧知:第三人称单数的陈述句It has ... 第一、三人称复数的陈述句We have ... / They have ... ,我喜欢I like ... (doing)以及There be 句型和名词单复数的不同表达形式。根据《英语课程标准》中提出在教学活动中要创设真是的语境为学生提供英语语用输出的机会,创设与My Garden相关联的具体语境,让学生在语境中反复感知,反复操练,形成初步的英语语段输出。
单元设计思路和依据
本单元是Module 4 Things we enjoy的第一个单元, 本单元没有教材指定的核心语言,在单元整体设计理念的指导下,基于学生学情,整合教材内容,创设出符合学生年龄特点,贴近生活实际情况的“最美阳台花园一角”的语言使用主题。学生先从参加“最美阳台花园一角”中学习到不同植物的特征,再到为“最美阳台花园”采购花种并种植植物学习植物的生长过程。然后讲述自己参加比赛的历程,到最后发现所有的生命都是有生命循环的道理。
