课题:4B Unit12 The Ugly Duckling
学情分析
本单元的教学对象是四年级学生,经过三年多的学习和积累,四年级的学生具备较丰富的语言储备。他们对英语学习有着较浓厚的兴趣,乐于参与课堂活动并且具备一定的交际能力。对于课本中呈现的各种文体有一定的了解,对童话故事非常喜爱。并且具备学习了解故事结构,深层分析故事情节以及对故事展开适当拓展设想的能力。
教材分析
本单元是Module 4 Things we enjoy当中最后一课Unit 12 The Ugly Duckling,教学内容是学生们非常熟悉的童话故事。本故事综合了非常多以前所学的词汇以及句型,如颜色:yellow,grey等。还有关于天气的词汇如:sunny,warm,cold等,还出现了非常丰富的句型如There be等。本单元整个故事采取第三人称进行描述,贯穿了第三人称单数这一语法现象,而这个语法点也是本册书需要重点学习和掌握的语法点。
学生通过学习这个故事,复习了如何准确表达天气,季节,方位等主题。了解了如何表达人物情感,并且基于故事情节,尝试展开想象,丰富完善故事情节。
本单元既是对以前所学旧知识的融合,也是对本册书以及本模块的归纳以及综合运用,是承上启下的一个单元。
三、单元设计思路和依据
在本单元的教学设计中,我们以Peter和Joe两位同学们非常熟悉的主人公每天利用课间休息时间一起阅读故事书为线索。伴随着他们的阅读探索,一个与众不同的special egg是如何长成那只丑小鸭的呢?丑小鸭出生后又会面对什么样的困难?他是如何克服一个个生命中的难题才能华丽蜕变成为美丽的天鹅呢?在每个分课时中,我们向学生介绍了故事的结构,引导学生对部分情节进行猜测,鼓励他们调动已有的语言积累去表达和想象。随着学习的深入我们教会学生剖析故事中各个人物的内心活动,如何正确表达情感。最后我们对故事进行梳理归纳,引导正确的价值观并达到能够参与讨论的程度。

知识目标:
学会在故事的语境中观察图片,运用所学的知识描述图片;能正确使用颜色,大小,内心感受来描述故事中各个人物。
能使用there be句型描述场景中所存在的东西。
能用Is there... Is it... 等句型进行猜测提问。
能力目标:
学会借助story map梳理故事情节和复述故事的能力;

Do you know where does he from?Can you tell me some other stories he wrote?展示图片,让学生了解作者以及相关作品。 What can you see in the picture?罗列出相关的动物,把关注点转移到丑小鸭身上。 提出问题Do other animals make a nest too 展示图片和文本。 Let's count the eggs together!
