教学目标：
复习中国和西方四个比较重要的节日，夯实节日名称、时间、饮食及活动等重要信息。
了解英语说明文写作的两种简单路径，帮助学生克服英文写作的心理障碍。
学习英语说明文简单写作的步骤，操练并完成个人写作。
了解、掌握英语说明文写作的简单技巧，如发散构思、确定框架、句式调整（扩句、并句）、上下文衔接、文章润色等。
教学重点：
学习英语说明文写作的两种路径。
掌握英语写作的简单技巧。
教学难点：
学生写作难在不知道写什么，怎么写，怎么写好。教师通过两种路径教授学生普通写作难点。第一种方式针对英语基础比较薄弱学生，开展问题导引式写作，主要步骤是1）回答问题 2）句式调整 3）增加标题。 第二种方式针对英语能力比较强的学生，开展建构式写作，主要步骤1）构思定框架 2）撰写核心语句 3）上下文衔接调整 4）通过细节给文章润色 5）甄选最佳标题。
教学过程：

新知呈现、归纳 、巩固与活用 使学生在情境中明晰任务，接受任务。 引导学生跟着主人公Amy一起学习、实践写一篇“最喜欢节日”为题的说明文。 学习第一种说明文写作的方法—问题导引式写作，并了解掌握写作的简单技巧。 引导英语基础比较好一点的学生跟着主人公Tony一起学习第二种写作方法。 5. 学习第二种说明文写作的方法—建构式写作。了解并掌握写作的具体流程以及在实践过程中的一些简单技巧。 创设情境，Ms. Li的学校正在做最爱的节日项目，Ms. Li布置同学们写下自己最爱的节日。 Ms. Li讲授第一种说明文的写作方法和流程。Amy决定按这个步骤写自己最爱的节日。 Amy按照Ms. Li的指引，先回答了Ms. Li的问题，把答句写出来形成自己作文的主干，进行了合并句子和扩充句子，给文章起标题。一步步完成了关于自己喜欢的节日的写作。PPT15-19 Ms. Li教授第二种说明文的写作方法和流程。Tony想按这个步骤写自己最爱的节日。 Tony按照Ms. Li的指引，进行了头脑风暴，选择了写作的四个角度，确定了文章的框架。Tony选定了自己喜欢的节日，写出了各个角度的关键词，并根据关键词扩充成句。Tony进行了句式上的调整并根据上下文对写出的句子增加了细节，使上下文衔接更顺畅。Tony为自己的文章想了三个题目并从中选择了最喜欢的一个。就这样，Tony一步步完成了关于自己喜欢的节日的写作。PPT21-27
