课题：6B Module 4 Unit 12 The five peas
一、学情分析
六年级学生的性格处于逐渐形成并趋向稳定的时期，随着知识的积累和对事物体验的深化，除了能描述事物外表，更注意对事物的分析和主观体会，对问题有自己独特的见解。六年级英语在小学英语教学中起着承上启下的作用，既是五年级的衍生又是初中一年级的铺垫。经过五年多的英语学习，学生在语言知识方面已掌握一般将来时与一般过去时的用法，能较准确描述事物发生状态，序数词、比较级等语言点也比较熟悉；此外，从小到大听或读过各种故事，对童话故事、寓言故事体裁很了解，对事物的见解越见成熟，这些都为本课学习升华至对理想的追求、身处困境时对美好未来的信心、保有健康阳光的心态等奠定了情感基础。
二、教材分析
本单元呈现了著名作家安徒生的经典童话故事《五颗小豌豆》，这是六年级下册的最后一个单元，本模块主要是围绕着Things we enjoy 这一主题展开的，第10单元对童话故事的作者与作品进行简单的介绍和了解，学生在之前学过其它童话故事的铺垫下进入本故事学习，五颗小豌豆从豆荚里出来，带着梦想一颗颗飞向天空，却有着不同结局的过程。基于该故事主题以及课文的语言知识点，结合学生对一般将来时与一般过去时的掌握，我们将文体内容进行整合与升华，通过听说法、情景法、复述法和创编表演等方法，让学生读懂故事，能用准确的时态和语法知识点去讲故事、演故事，并领悟其中的道理，升华至谈论理想、信念、意志力等。
本单元没有新句型和语法，主要复习巩固的句型和语法知识如下：
用一般将来时的句型：will be(do)…来描述自己将来想做的事情。
用一般过去时的句型：主语+动词过去式+其它 来表示过去某个时间点发生的动作或存在的状态。
在描述事件的发展时，用序数词first, second, third等帮助我们更有条理地描述事件发生的先后顺序和步骤。
三、单元设计整体和依据
设计依据：通过分析五颗小豌豆“谈论理想—离开豆荚—豆荚与小女孩”这一发展情节对故事内容进行整合和创编，让学生体会不同豌豆的理想和命运，产生共鸣，引起对自己理想的思考。最后运用活动手册的听读练习阅读--《三颗石头》引导学生欣赏童话故事的方法、感知童话故事的魅力。
第一课时General reading，通过宏观阅读整个故事，学生能够了解故事的主题、人物、结构及情感，本课时利用一定的略读技巧，引导学生猜测标题，找主人公，为文章分段，选择段意，分析人物性格等方式步步递进，帮助学生梳清条理，理解文章整体大意，进一步了解第五颗豌豆积极向上、有抱负及激励他人的精神，并树立健康的价值观。
第二课时的主题是The dreams of the peas。本课时引导学生对故事的初步认识延伸到分析故事的发展过程--五颗小豌豆被小男孩从豆荚里拿出来，带着自己的愿望一颗一颗飞向天空。教学中通过齐读、复述、讨论等系列环节让学生了解五颗小小豌豆们的梦想，明白自己也和豌豆一样生长，从弱小到强壮。即使迷茫也要充满梦想，努力吸取养分就总有破土而出的一天，培养积极向上的人生观。
第三课时，洞悉故事结局。怀着理想的五颗小豌豆各有各的归宿和命运，其中第五颗小豌豆最后长成了一棵巨大的豌豆苗，鼓舞了生病的小女孩，最终梦想成真，做了有用的事，让学生对理想抱负有更深一步的认识，同时引导学生即使身处困境也要坚定对美好未来的信心、保有健康阳光的心态等意志品质。
第四课时的主题是 The three stones。本课时通过学习关于三颗石头的故事，学习阅读方法，从beginning，middle和ending三个部分解读故事，从而了解故事的结构、主题、人物及情节。同时在学习故事过程中，达成语言知识层面的学习，巩固文中出现的一般过去时：laugh(laughed), come(came),become(became), see(saw), put(put), go(went)等。培养学生阅读策略和思维品质，引导学生学习第3颗石头积极勇敢的生活态度，怀抱树立远大理想的勇气，坚定有志者事竟成的信念。

五、单元目标
1、语言知识目标
（1）能听说读写核心词汇：pea, pod, excited, pick,bullet, lazy, roof, yard, hit. 能在具体情境中听说核心词组：see the world, one by one, look out of, something useful, bigger and stronger.
（2）能够使用序数词first, second, third 等来描述事件发生的先后顺序和步骤。
（3）能使用主语+动词过去式+其它的一般过去式描述。
（4）能使用…will be(do) 句型描述自己将来想做的事情。
（5）能使用excited, surprised, bored 等形容词来表达主观感受和心情。
