教学目标:
掌握核心词汇短语one by one, pea, pod, bigger, stronger, excited, bullet, something+形容词,建立音、形、义联系。
巩固文本中出现的一般过去式:pick(picked), take(took), grow(grew),。
复习序数词描述事件发生的顺序和步骤:first, second, third, fourth, fifth.
本课时将引导学生从对故事的初步认识延伸到分析故事的发展过程,为下一课时的学习留下悬念,学习故事的讲述方法;通过齐读、复述、讨论等系列环节让学生了解五颗小小豌豆们的梦想,明白自己也和豌豆一样生长,从弱小到强壮。
教学重点:
听懂故事内容,理解故事大意,结合所学习故事的语境,掌握核心词汇短语的语意、发音、词形及语用:one by one, pea, pod, bigger, stronger, excited, bullet, something+形容词。
通过对话、制作表格与复述故事,学习故事的讲述方法。
教学难点:(明确难点所在、因何而难、解难策略)
1.难点所在:能够根据行文的需要使用适当的时态复述故事;学习故事的讲述方法。
2.因何而难:各时态之间不断切换;学生归纳概括的能力所限。
3.解难策略:在学习过程中注意方法的指导,如:故事整体用过去式,但引号里直接引语是当时的语言,用当时该有的时态;表格归纳法。

T: Which pea’s dream do you like 结合故事内容并提问: Free talk: If you are one of the peas, what will you do And what is your dream 鼓励孩子们每个人都应该拥有梦想,并要努力去实现梦想。 5. 学习图5: (1)展示Picture 5,引导学生观察图片,获取信息。 T: What happened next PPT展示五颗豌豆一颗颗飞出去的动画,学习核心短语one by one,并拓展by的其它词组:day by day, year by year, step by step, week by week。 结合图片中小男孩的行为,引导学生思考分析该行为存在的危险性,培养学生安全意识。 T: What do you think of the boy’s behavior T: We know that the boy helped the peas fly into the sky. Maybe they could make their dreams come true. But don’t do that in our daily life. Because it is dangerous.
