教学内容:Picture 6 and Picture 7
教学目标:
在语篇情境中学习核心词汇roof, yard, hit, look out of, the same, get well, 建立音、形、意的联系。复习文本中出现的一般过去式:fall(fell), hit(hit)。掌握序数词描述事件发生的顺序和步骤:first, second, third, fourth, fifth.
引导学生阅读语篇后两图,与前5图内容建立关联,帮助学生理清故事脉络。
培养学生精读文本,提取细节信息的能力。
引导学生理解梦想,培养学生在困境中保持坚强心态的勇气。
在语篇阅读过程中培养学生发散思维、审辨思维。
教学重点:
听懂故事内容,理解故事大意,结合所学习故事的语境,掌握核心词汇短语的语意、发音、词形及语用:roof, yard, hit, look out of, the same, get well.
能够分析体会五颗豌豆的不同归宿,并掌握核心句型:The first pea fell on a roof, and a bird ate it. 等。
能根据图表,用一般过去时复述故事。
教学难点:(明确难点所在、因何而难、解难策略)
难点所在:理解第五颗小豌豆的作为如何鼓舞小女孩儿对战胜疾病的信心。
因何而难:情感升华,比较抽象。
解难策略:借助图表复述故事中,做到内容-语言-情感的同步推进。

组 织 教 学 及 复 习 播放前面已经学习过的音频,保持故事的完整性。 2. 复习第二课时的内容,让学生有熟悉感。 3. 设置悬念,引出本课时内容。 播放图1-5的音频,让学生将5个句子和5幅图匹配。 T: In the past two periods, we learned the dreams of five peas. Now, please watch the video and match the pictures with the sentences. 用表格形式复习第二课时的内容。 五颗小豆子带着梦想飞走了,他们都飞去了哪里呢?请同学们猜一猜。
新 知 呈 现 与 归 纳 新 知 呈 现 与 归 纳 新 知 呈 现 与 归 纳 通过听录音、看视频、填写表格和回答问题等多种形式的操练,理解豆子们的不同归宿,学习过程中复习旧知、巩固新知,引导学生感受体会不同豆子们的理想与现实。 通过询问第五颗豆子的结果,引出Picture 7. 通过观察图7,借助4个问题,引发学生推测文段的内容。然后让学生带着问题观看视频,熟悉故事主要人物,情节发展和结尾,并学习核心短语look out of, the same, get well. 学习Picture 6 播放Piture 6 的视频,让学生帮五颗豆子找归宿。边找边讲解语言点。 T: Where did the first pea fall ①出示第一颗豆子的图片,播放录音: The first pea fell on a roof. T: Yes, he fell on a roof. 复习fall的过去式fell。 学习核心词汇roof:出示屋顶的图片,引导学生形义结合理解语义,学习语音oo /u:/,列举其它含有oo /u:/的单词操练。 ②出示第二颗豆子的图片,播放录音: The second pea fell into some water. ③出示第三颗、第四颗豆子的图片,播放录音: The third and fourth peas fell into a yard. 学习核心词汇yard:出示院子的图片,引导学生形义结合理解语义,学习语音ar /a:/,列举其它含有ar /a:/的单词操练. ④出示第五颗豆子的图片,播放录音: The fifth pea hit a window and fell on the ground. 学习核心词汇hit,巩固hit的过去式也是hit。 引导学生通过前面五颗豌豆不同归宿的学习,完成表格where一列。 播放图6完整的录音,请学生跟读,并思考问题:At last, what happened to the peas 完成表格What happened一列。 看前四颗豆子的动画,填空。 ① ② ③④ 那么第五颗豆子现在怎么样了呢?播放第五颗豌豆的生长过程,让学生感受生命的神奇,同时为Picture 7 做铺垫。 T:How about the fifth pea 第5颗豆茁壮成长。豆苗长得很高,它看到了窗户里面有个女孩子,这个女孩子好像生病了,于是它想以己之力帮助这个女孩…… T:The fifth pea is growing bigger and taller. One day, he looks into the window. There is a girl lies in bed, who has been ill for years. The fifth pea decids to help her. 学习Picture 7. (1) PPT出示Picture7的图片,将4个问题提前抛给学生。 ① How was the girl ② What did she see when she looked out of the window ③ What did the girl say after she saw the plant ④ How was the girl a few weeks later (2) 播放视频,一边画出关键句子核对答案,一边讲解碰到的新短语和词汇 ① She was ill/ sick. She was very sad. ② She looked out of the window and saw a plant. 回答问题后,划线核心短语 look out of ,这里配图解释,让学生填空。 ③ She said “The pea is growing bigger and taller. It must be strong. I’ll try to do the same. ” 划出核心词汇do the same,here do the same means I also want to be strong just like the pea. I should take medicine, eat healthy food and do more exercises. ④ A few weeks later, she got well. 回答问题后,划线核心词汇got well. Got well is the past tense of get well, get well means get healthy.
