课时目标
1、复习单词：hot, warm, cool, cold, rainy, snowy, windy, cloudy, sunny,学习单词：degree。
2、能听懂、会说问答句，并能在实际情境中加以运用。
教学重难点
1、重点：能听懂、会说问答句：What’s the weather like in New York It’s rainy. How about Beijing It’s 26 degrees.并能在实际情境中加以运用。
2、难点：世界几个著名城市的英文发音。

教学过程
一、Warm-up
Say the chant: Brrr, it’s cold. It’s cold outside. Put on your hat. Cold, bye-bye. Mmmm!
It’s warm. It’s warm inside. Take off your shoes. It feels so nice.
二、Revision
1、全班抽读单词：hot, warm, cool, cold, rainy, snowy, windy, cloudy, sunny。
2、学生个人读。
3、活动：猜天气
4、看图说天气
三、Presentation
1、教学单词degree
T：Look at the picture, this is the weather report today, what’s the weather like in Susong
Ss: It’s hot and sunny.
T: 教师让学生观察温度，然后读出温度：It’s 25 degrees. 板书degree, 并带读
2、教学句子:How about Beijing 教师介绍当地今日天气：It’s hot and sunny today. How about Beijing 出示天气截图并介绍：It’s rainy in Beijing. 板书：How about Beijing 告诉学生：在对话中再次问到相同的问题，只是更换了地点和人物时，我们通常可以简单地问：How about... 带读句子。
3、教学B.Let’s talk (1)教师播放B.Let’s talk的录音，让学生带着问题看视频：
Q1: Where is Chen Jie
Q2: What’s the weather like in New York
(2)学生回答这两个问题。
(3)教师再次播放录音，每句暂停，学生跟读。
(4)学生两人一组，分别扮演Chen Jie 和Mark进行对话表演。
(5)请几组学生到台前表演。
四、Consolidation and extension 教学B. Let’s play 让学生两人一组，就教材提供的各地天气进行小组问答练习。
如：
S1：What’s the weather like in Beijing
S2: It’s cool and rainy.
五、Homework
1、Listen and read “Let’s talk”.
2、Describe the weather of your hometown today.
