一、教学目标
1.知识目标
1）学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写下列词汇：am ,when ,birthday
2）学生能认读、理解并运用下列基本的句型结构： -How old are you
- I’m _______ years old.
When is your birthday
2.能力目标
运用所学获得有关年龄的信息。
3.情感目标
培养学生用所学的交际用语进行交流的能力，并通过交际化语言的学习，激发学生对语言学习的热情，培养学生爱好。
二、教学重难点
1.教学重点：用How old are you 询问他人的年龄，并能用I am…作出回答。
2.教学难点：When is your birthday My birthday is 月份+序数词..

四、教学过程
1. Greeting
T: Class begins.
S: Stand up. Good morning teacher!
T: Good morning class. How are you today
S: I’m fine, thanks, and you
T: Very well, thank you .Sit down, please !
2. Review
复习12个单词和12个序数词，以及日期的表达
3. Presentation
1）T: Today we will learn lesson 13 ‘How old are you ’First , let’s
listen a song‘ How old are you’, and sing along with the music.
2)单词学习
am 是 I am=I’m
when 什么时候，何时
birthday 生日
用PPT展示生词并领读,用单词卡片击鼓传花随机方向传操练单词并对单词进行听说认读的操练。
3）（出示婴儿及蛋糕的图片）询问How old is the baby 引导学生回答He is one year old. 并强调只有一岁时用one year old.
（出示小女孩及蛋糕图片）询问How old is the girl 并引导学生回答
引出重点句型并板书How old are you？ I’m ________years old.
Practice: 通过 I can say形式，同桌运用相互问答并展示。
4）（出示婴儿及带有其生日的图片）询问When is the baby’s birthday 引导学生回答His birthday is October 24.
（出示小男孩及其生日图片）提问并引导学生回答
When is the boy’s birthday His birthday is July the fifth
引出句型 When is your birthday My birthday is 月份+序数词
Practice: 通过 I can say形式，同桌运用句型相互问答并展示。
5）Read your books and answer the questions读课文回答问题。（找同学回答）
1、How old is Danny
2、How old is Steven
3、When is Steven’s birthday
4、When is Danny’s birthday
6）Pair work : (PPT展示同桌之间要进行的两组对话)Ask your partner about his or her birthday. I’ll give you three times to talk. Now time is up . Which group can show us (找几组上台展示)。
7）Make a survey.小组四人一组进行讨论，提问并填写表格
1. What’s your name
2. How old are you
3. When is your birthday
迅速记录并找同学上台进行展示。

9）Homework
