教学背景 分析 教材分析 第四单元主要围绕“My Favourites”展开话题:colour、clothes、food、subject and school work. 本课处于中间位置,在本单元有着举足轻重的地位。它主要介绍了七种学科的表达,并对三年级下册及前三课已经接触过的“My Favourite…”句型再次进行了巩固运用。
学情分析 四年级学生经过一年多的学习,已经有一定的英语基础。通过前三课的学习,学生对“My Favourite…”句型已经有了一定掌握,所以本课主要是新词的学习掌握。他们对英语的兴趣很浓,结合我班学生人数(仅六人)、性别(男多女少)特点,设计歌谣、游戏等方式。他们英语学习的习惯也很好,每次上英语课之前,都能做到预习新课。
教学目标 知识 与 技能 1.学生能听懂、会说、认读并书写单词: subject,Chinese, English, science, math, PE, art, music 2.学生能认读、理解并运用句型结构: ---What’s your favourite subject --- My favourite subject is______
情感态度 本节课通过歌谣、游戏等教学活动,培养学生学习英语的兴趣,使他们乐于感知并在日常生活中尽量模仿使用英语。
学习策略 1.在日常情境中观察简单的英语对话; 2.养成听录音和跟读句子的习惯; 3.学习时要集中注意力; 4.要积极向老师或同学请教; 5.经常学习和说唱英语歌曲,歌谣,以便于所学语言的记忆和巩固。
教学重点 学生能听懂,会说,认读并书写: subject, Chinese, English, science, math, PE, art, music.

New Concepts (37min.) Step 1: 1.Demonstration What’s a subject (板书) This is a subject. This is a subject. And this is a subject ,too. Do you know “subject”? Let’s learn the new words. 利用以下句型介绍并板书:Chinese、English、science、math、PE、art、music. What subject is it Do you like... What do you do in ...class Is this a ...book This is a ...book. Yes/No Drill the words or the sentences. 。 通过字母的发音帮助学生记忆单词,更加事半功倍 直观地通过观察、讨论图片、引导学生进行新单词的操练,培养学生良好的语感。另外与学生的口头交流让学生得到大量的语言输入。
2.Listen to the tape. Students listen and repeat. 有利于学生输入纯正发音,形成正确的语音语调
3.Practice: Lead a guessing game. Play the game 游戏的加入可以激发学生的兴趣,让学生在快乐中轻松掌握单词
Step2: We know so many subjects. What is your favourite subject (板书,领读) My favourite subject is...(板书,领读,指自己并介绍) Lead the students say the sentences and answer. T:What is Danny’s favourite subject Do you know And Jenny’s Questions: ①What’s Kim’s favourite subject ②What’s Danny’s favourite subject ③What’s Steven’s favourite subject? ④What’s Jenny’s favourite subject? (explain: also/too) Students follow to read. Students answer. Listen to the tape, answer the questions and match. Repeat. 听读课文,第一遍 带问题去听,第二 遍跟读,对课文中 内容进行理解,注重语 音语调的准确. 让学生用also/too 介绍句子,加强对also/too的理解运用。
Step3: Make a dialogue with your partner.(Part3) Pairwork. Ask and answer: Do you like_____ Yes/Sure.I also like___、____./No, I don’t. ---What is your favourite subject ---My favourite subject is ______. 让学生结合自身组织对话操练,让学生对知识有一个内化的过程。
Step4. Extension Interview and report 小记者采访(同桌两人合作,一名同学当记者,一名做被采访人) 1.师生示范对话: T:What subjects do you like S1:I like____.I also like____. ... Students interview and report.They can write their answers on the paper. 根据学生水平拓展语言知识的综合运用能力。
Class closing (2 min.) Summary (1 min.) Lead a summary: What have you learned this class Have a summary. 让学生总结不仅加深了他们对新授内容的印象,更培养了他们勤于总结的学习习惯。
