Is there a post office in the neighbourhood B:Yes, there is.A:Where is it B:It is on Xinhua Street.导入新词：streetLet’s learn老师出示图片，听录音学习新单词street 学生跟读。T讲解：同义词为road.注意当说某个特定街道时，不用定冠词, Street的首字母要大写，如Wall Street 华尔街，Apple Street, Xinhua Street等 学生跟读，自读，分组读等。同样的方法引出新词：hotel，老师出示图片，听录音学习新单词hotel,学生跟读。Beijing Sihe Hotel，Fairmont Peace Hotel 上海和平饭店，Seven Days Hotel 7天连锁酒店，联系生活巩固练习。注意：地名、语言名、某国人等词的首字母应大写.学生跟读，自读，分组读等。同样引出：square，老师出示图片，听录音学习新单词square学生跟读。巩固练习: Tian’ anmen Square天安门广场，注意Square的首字母大写，专有名词（如国家、地名、朝代和党派等）的（实词）首字母应大写. 学生跟读，高低声读，男女生分组读。同样引出：city，老师出示图片，听录音学习新单词city，学生跟读。老师讲解：Beijing is a big and beautiful city. Where is the … 另一个学生根据图片找到这个地点并进行回答， 然后两人交换角色进行活动。Tip: 此处可以换其他的图片或地图，以增加活动的趣味性和有效性。③Watch and repeat看视频，跟读，注意语音语调。4.Read and act.表演我最棒！小组合作:两人一小组观察图片，边指边说。（有表情、语气、动作表演对话。）5.Game老师出示某些场所及它们的位置，然后问Excuse me. Where is the hotel in the city 引导学生回答It is across from the square. 再画出路线，回答Turn right at the sports center, then go straight. It’s on the right.Let’s write.书写之前，老师先让学生练习说答句，一方面可以关注学生的语言错误，及时纠正，另一方面学生可以准备好写什么内容老师在黑板上示范写答句，可以让学生伸出手指书写，关注书写习惯，如：字母占格、笔顺等.Let’s check: Read and fill in the blanks Fun Time Good to know.Language point 配合老师学习新单词和短语，能够说出所学单词和短语的名称。读新单词和短语。听录音，读单词和短语。做游戏巩固单词。能够将单词与相应的图片连线，巩固新学单词。两人一组练习句型。跟老师读对话，模仿语音语调；玩游戏，并会用英语说出路线掌握本课重点句型。能够正确书写，注意字母占格与笔顺。 完成对本课时重点知识点的讲解，讲解中增强与学生的互动，步步深入，使学生在课堂上对所学知识点有深刻印象。用录音进行课文的示范朗读，是培养学生良好的朗读习惯的关键，同时也能为学生的朗读树立榜样。通过设计各种不同类型的游戏让学生真正的掌握知识并学以致用。从听说读写四个方面提高学生的综合语言应用能力。培养学生的书写能力。巩固本课所学新知识。让学生把已有的认识和经验和新知识联系起来，在模拟真实环境中去感受、去体验。让学生根据实际情况造句，是语言综合运用能力的练习活动

country国家。而在一个国家中，你就会发现city, town, village。所以，country包含city, town, village。
city, town, village的大小不同。
village是指“small community in a rural area”，即“村庄;村镇”。在这里，你很难找到电影院，大型超市。
town是指“a place with many houses, shops/stores, etc. where people live and work. It is larger than a village but smaller than a city”，即“镇，市镇，集镇 ”。这个地方大小比村庄village大，但是比city要小。
city是指“large town”，即“城市”。

There be句型的用法
There be句型表示“某地有某物”，其结构为:”There be +某物/人+某地”， 否定句是把not放在be之后，疑问句是把be提到句首。
eg. Is there a dog under the tree There isn’t a dog under the tree.
其回答为Yes, there is/are. 或No, there isn’t./aren’t.
其中be动词的单复数形式依照距离there最近的名词的单复数形式而定.
eg. There is a pen on the desk./ There are two apples on the desk.
