一、教学目标
1、语言知识
词语:cool, nice, clever, cute, naughty, etc
名型:This is my …. He’s ….
2、语言技能
能用“This is my …. He’s….”等句型来介绍和描述某人,并培养学生在情景中正确使用语言进行交际能力。
3、情感态度
树立“You can not judge a person by looks. 不以貌取人。”的意识,并培养团队协作的能力。
4、学习策略
通过数学思维观察示例,归纳描述外貌时如何使用be 动词和have / has。
二、教学重难点
能听懂,会说本课的交际用语,并能在情景中熟练运用。
三、教学准备
1、教具准备:多媒体课件,录音机,实物,学生自带明星照等。
2、教学准备,将学生分成4个学习小组,并将标有数字1—4的卡片放到各小组的桌上。
四、教学过程
Step 1、Warmer
Step2. Lead in
T:Ok, I’m very happy today. Well, welcome to my class. Now, Look.
(多媒体课件出示已填写好的学生个人资料。)
I am cool.Name:Ye jia xinAge:Ten years oldFrom:Xu Jiabian Primary SchoolFriend:Tan WenruiEnglish Teacher:Miss Deng
T:Ok, this time can you say sth abou him
Ps:Yes, his name is Ye Jiaxin. He is ten years old. He is from Xu Jiabian primary School. His friend is Tan Wenrui. His English teacher is Miss Deng.
T:Of course, I think he is a cool boy. So cool, well, is he cool
PS:Yes. He’s cool.(师引出课题。)
T:Right. He’s cool. Now, read after me:cool. He’s cool.(师手指课题)
PS:学习该单词。
Steps3:Listen, look and answer.
1)T:Everybody, and I know he has a happy family, too. Now, do you want to go his family with me
PS:Yes.
T:Ok, stand up. Let’s go there by bus. Now, I’m a bus driver.(师戴上bus头饰,与孩子们唱着英语歌,开着“车”去学生的家。唱完歌后告诉学生,现在已经到达目的地,并让生坐好。接着师出示静止的“家”的画面。)
T:Now, we’ve arrived his home. Look, do you like his home
PS:Yes.
2)T:This time, Let’s listen and look. And who’s this man Guess.
PS:He is his father.
T:How do you know that
PS:Because…
T:Oh, how clever. Thank you. This is his father. He’s very clever。
(师板书: father-clever。)

3)T:Ok, let’s go on. Who’s his mother
PS:---.
T:Great! This is his mother. She’s very nice and beautiful, right
PS:Yes.
T:(师板书:mother—nice。)

4)T:Good. Does Ye Jiaxin has a little sister
PS:Yes.
T:(师板书:little sister—cute。)
PS:学习该句型。
5)T:Great! How about his big brother
PS:His big brother is cool, too.
T:(师板书:big brother—cool。)
PS:学习该句型。
6)T:Well, I forgot it his friend. Who is his friend
PS:This is his friend.(师请生上大屏幕前指并说。)
T:Ok, anything else, is his friend naughty You know, his friend is so naughy. So, let’s look again.
PS:继续听和看多媒体课件。
T:(师板书:friend—naughty。)
PS:学习该句型。
Step4. Learn to say
(师出示课件中的课文内容)
1)Look, listen and repeat.
2)Look at the books and read after the PPT.
3)A little teacher teaches the core text.
Step5. Practice
1)多媒体课件呈现图片,让学生通过比较,对cool, nice, clever, cute, naughty等再次获得直观形象的认识,分小组竞赛读单词。
2)请几位学生用所学单词和句型现场描述教室里的同学或听课老师。
3)Make sentences: is .
教师先作示范:Miss wang is nice. Miss zhang is tall. 之后组织学生结对练习。
4)Play a game(竞猜游戏)
请两名学生上台,甲方蒙住眼睛,乙生用英语:I am cute等介绍自己的特点,但不能说出自己的名字。学生乙还可以改变声音来增加难度,学生甲根据听到的信息,猜出学生乙的姓名。活动开始前,教师先作示范。
Step6. Consolidation and extension
1)师再次播放“家访”情景录像,并关掉音量,让生现场配音并小组合作设计各种情景表演,师请生或在座的老师给予评价。
2)任务活动:Talk about any star that you like.
请生拿出事先准备好的照片,如学生自己喜爱的明星照,分小组进行描述、发表看法等。讨论后,各组派代表在讲台上作汇报展示,组与组之间进行资源共享。
3)任务活动:What will you look like when you are 20 years old
让学生发挥想象,设想自己20岁时的模样,并简单地在纸上写和画出来,完成后让生把作品送给现场的老师或同学,并让他们作汇报展示。
Step7. Summary
1)整体回顾本节课的重难点,复习如何介绍和描述某人的喜爱和观点,请生回答本节课后的感想。
2)师最后出示谚语:You can not judge a person by looks.(不以貌取人。)
