Once upon a time, there was a very old man called Yu Gong. He was nearly ninety years old.
One day, Yu Gong called his family together to talk about how to move the mountains to other places. All but his wife agreed with him.
His wife said, "An old man like you cannot even move a small hill. Even if you can, where can you put so much earth and stone ".
The next day, they all started to dig the mountains.
There were two mountains near his house. They were so high and big that it took a long time to walk to the other side.
Yu Gong said they could put the earth and stone into the sea because it's big enough to hold everything.
