本课为阅读教学课,内容来自陕旅版小学英语五年级下册第4单元Part B,教学文本主要围绕“乡村生活”这一主题,通过对Lele居住的乡村进行详细的描述,激发学生爱家爱自然的思想感情,内容生动有趣,十分吸引学生。
学情分析:
本课教学对象为我校五年级学生,经过将近五年的英语学习,他们已经具备基本的听、说、读、写能力,能积极参与合作,逻辑思维能力日益增强。通过第一、二课时的学习,学生已掌握以下词汇:snake,lake,bird,potato,tomato,并能使用句型:Where do you live I live in …It’s…,but… There is/are …对居住地及环境进行问答和简单描述。
教学目标:
1.语言能力
(1)能听、说、读和理解文本新词:run by,grow,other,be home for,even,live happily together,year after year,进而理解文本大意。
(2)能使用一般现在时各功能结构:Lele and his parents live in…They…In …,they…They live happily together year after year….来就居住地及环境进行描述。
2.学习能力
(1)使学生掌握阅读技巧:如速读掌握文章大意,细读获取文本基本信息。
(2)使学生在自主学习和合作探究中,提高学生听、说、读、写能力。
3.思维品质
(1)通过阅读活动及拓展活动,提高学生英语学习兴趣,发展学生创新思维。
(2)引导学生分析信息,在大量信息中找到关键信息和有效信息。
4.文化品格
让学生感受乡村生活之美,培养学生热爱家园,热爱大自然,热爱生活的思想感情。
教学重、难点:
1.掌握重点词汇和句型,理解对话,指导学生按正确的语音语调及意群朗读课文。
2.完成采访活动,设计自己喜欢的乡村并进行描述。
教法与学法:
1.任务型教学法 ;情景教学法;游戏法。2.自主学习和合作学习。
教具准备:
PPT、音频、视频、人物头饰、卡片和图画。
教学过程:
Step 1 Warm- up and lead-in
Sing an English song:Old MacDonald and lead into the new lesson:Old MacDonald has a farm.He lives in a village.
Step 2 New presentation
1. Pre-reading
Talk freely with Ss freely.
(1)Where do you live
(2)How about your grandparents
(3)Can you talk about it (Is there a river Is it big/small/beautiful What’s in the city/village )
2.While-reading
(1)PPT shows my good friend——Lele,get the students to guess:
Where does Lele live
(2)Listen,choose and underline the new words and short phrases.
Lele and his parents live in a(village/city).
(3)Read discuss and fill in
(4)Help the students to understand the new words and key sentences in the text.Guide the students to read the text in correct pronunciation and tones.

3.Post-reading
(1)Interview and show
Set a situation:Lele’s village has been found by the TV show:Beautiful Village Column.The reporter will interview Lele like this:
Get the students to work in pairs,one is the reporter,one is Lele,then show after 3 minutes.
(2)Draw a village you like and describe.
Ask the students to design a village they like and describe it,4 kids a group.
Step 3 Summary and homework
Teacher summarizes the lesson and announces the result of the competition.By watching a video tell the students:Home is a place full of love,care and warmth.East or west,home is the best!Please love your home,love your life.
The homework is :
1.Retell Lele’s village to your friends.(向朋友讲述乐乐的村庄)
2.White your city or village down and share. (写一写你居住的城市或村庄并分享)
