一、Whatever的用法
①、用于引导名词性从句
Whatever she did was right.
Give them whatever they desire.
Whatever I have is at your service.
You may do whatever you want to do.
②、用于引导让步状语从句
引起让步状语从句时，等于no matter what.
Whatever we said, he'd disagree.
Whatever happened I must be calm.
We’ll go along together whatever happens.
Don’t lose heart whatever difficulties you meet.
2、表达方法：
①、直接引导从句
I’ll just say whatever comes into my head.
Whatever you do, I won't tell you my secret.
②、修饰名词，与名词一起引导从句
Such is Dad, whatever problems he meets, he never gives up.
Take whatever magazines you want to read.
3、在从句中所作成分
①、在从句中作主语
Whatever happens, don’t be surprised.
②、在从句中作宾语
One should stick to whatever one has begun.
③、在从句中作表语
Whatever difficulty it is ,he will try his best to overcome it.
4、引导名词性从句时可以改成定语从句（all that从句/ anything that从句）
I’m going to learn whatever my tutor wishes.
= I’m going to learn all that my tutor wishes.

= Do anything that she tells you and you'll have peace.
1、whatever与no matter what 的区别
①、Whatever既可引导名词性从句（如主语从句、宾语从句、表语从句）又可引导让步状语从句。
I will do whatever you wish.
②、no matter what只能引导让步状语从句
Whatever we said, he'd disagree.
= No matter what we said, he'd disagree
③、可以类推到其他结构（whoever whichever, whenever ,wherever,
however，等）
Whoever [No matter who] telephones, tell them I’m out.
Whenever [No matter when] you come, you are
welcome.
We found the people friendly wherever [no matter
wherever] we went.
However [No matter how] much he eats, he never
Gets fat.
2、whatever 与whichever的区别
whatever 与whichever的用法基本相同，只是他们的含义不同
①、 whatever：“无论什么，”
②、 whichever：“无论哪一个”
