Read the following article,and then finish the task after it. A modern Chinese poet —Ai Qing Ai Qing was born in 1910 in eastern China’s Zhejiang province. He is one of the finest modern Chinese poets (中国现代诗人). After he went to Hangzhou Xihu Art School in 1928, Lin Fengmian gave him a piece of advice that he could study abroad. From 1929 to 1932, he studied in France. After returning to Shanghai, China in May 1932, he joined China Left Wing Artist Association (中国左翼艺术家协会), and was sent to prison (监狱) in July. There Ai Qing wrote many poems to show his feelings. One of them is Dayanhe — My Nurse. This poem was popular with a lot of people and he became famous. After the start of the Second Sino-Japanese War in 1937, Ai Qing wrote Snow Falls on China s Land after arriving at Wuhan to support the war. However, in 1957, during the Anti-Rightist Movement, he was sent to farms in northeast China, and then to Xinjiang in 1959. During the Cultural Revolution he was asked to work daily cleaning toilets for his village of about 200 people. According to his son, he lost sight in one of his eyes because of the poor life.
