内容分析
本课是PEP小学英语三年级起点第一册Unit1第二课时。本课时主要要求学生能听、说、认读单词:China,USA,Canada,UK。并能听懂和会说“We are friends.”“We like to play.”这两个句子。在Let’s chant中,通过练习和运用对话部分的内容,为学生提供一个在实际生活中运用语言的机会。

能够在情景中运用“Hello!/Hi!”与别人打招呼。也能运用句型“I'm... I’m from...”来介绍自己

认识四个国家的标志性建筑以及国旗。

Step 1: Warm-up & Lead-in
Greetings
Revision & Lead-in
(1)Let students practice the sentence patterns which we have learned(Part A Let’s talk) and choose several groups to give a show for the class.
For example:
I’m Miss Li. I’m from China.(The teacher can make a modal. )
(2)Answer one by one(接力回答)
S1:I’m Zhang San. I’m from Wu Han. What about you?
S2:I’m Li Si. I’m from Beijing. What about you?
S3:I’m Wang Wu. I’m from Luoyang. What about you?
S4:I’m Zhaoqiang. I’m from Shenzhen. What about you?
...
Step 2: Presentation
Let’s learn
(1)Free talk
Do you know these please?Now,let’s look and say together.
T: what are these?
Ss: They are ....
T: They are from ?
Ss: UK,Canada,USA and China.
(2)Show the flag of the U.K. and introduce something about the country.At the same time,show the picture of its landmark building——the Big Ben.
(3)Put another three pictures of landmark buildings in other countries on PPT and introduce them in the same way.
(4)Look at the pictures and answer the following questions according to them. And build a relationship between them.
Look and answer:
T:Please look the pictures carefully. Can you guess where are they?
Ss:They are in Canada,the U.S.A. and China.
Use the above names of countries to speak out the following sentence patterns in groups again and again.
For example: UK,UK,I’m from the U.K.
Canada,Canada,I’m from Canada.
USA,USA,I’m from the U.S.A.
China,China,I’m from China.
Work in pairs
Rules:one points to the flag or the landmark building,the other one needs speak out the name of the country in English at once.
Practice the sentence pattern “I’m from...” between teacher and students.
Rules:Teacher can show the picture in disorder. And students should answer correctly in a form of competition. Which one can answer the most,she/he will get a reward.
2. Let’s chant

Chant:
We are friends.We like to play.
We are friends.We like to play.
A boy from Canada.
A girl from the U.K.
Friends from China and the U.S.A.
Listen to the recording and sing along with it. Find and think the sentence pattern“we are ...”“we like to ...”“... from +国家”等。
Step 3: Practice
Talk and act
Look at the picture in Let’s chant again and ask the four children respectively to act and introduce themselves.
For example:
The first one act Mike. Say“Hi, I’m Mike. I’m from Canada.”
The second one act Amy. Say“Hi, I’m Amy. I’m from the U.K.”
The third one act Sarah. Say“Hi, I’m Sarah. I’m from the U.S.A.”
The fourth one act Zhang Peng. Say“Hi, I’m Zhang Peng. I’m from China.”
Match the following pictures with the countries whose names were given (把下列图片图片和所属国家进行连线。)
