Many students are gaining weight during the long holidays, as they seldom go out for exercise. As a sport fanatic, I never have this kind of trouble because I enjoy playing table tennis at home.
Every day after dinner, we start the joy of the evening by a game of table tennis. The living room is not spacious but enough for a home-made table tennis table- the dinning table. My mother and I always take turns against my father. My little sister, Jenny, usually sits aside and cheers for us.
Table tennis is probably the best sport that we can play at home. A pair of bats, a ball and a dinning table are all the things we need to start the game. I still remember the day my father taught me how to hold the bat and told me to stay calm no matter what direction the ball would come from. This still inspires me in every aspect of my life.
Playing table tennis not only keeps my body strong, but brings lots of fun and joy to my whole family. If you are sitting around with nothing to do, why not try swinging the ball up in the air

Identify the topic. ①Let students read the notice again and get a clear idea of what to write. ② Lead students to brainstorm on what sports can be done at home. Scratch an outline. Revise and polish. Give students a check list to revise their writing. Get to know the four-step writing strategy by completing situational tasks. Step 3 While- writing Ask students to start a draft under the instruction illustrated before. Write a draft by using the four-step writing strategy. To guide students to practise on their own with the help of the strategy.
