An object clause takes the place of the object in a sentence.
要素1:引导词
从属连词:that; if/whether
连接代词:who, whom, whose, what等
连接副词:where, how, why, when

e.g. You may wonder whether stress is a serious matter.
句型 1:主语+ 谓语动词+ 引导词 + 从句

从句要用
什么语序呢?
要素2 语序:宾语从句用陈述语序。
example:
''You need to lose a bit of weight.'' The doctor said.
→ The doctor said that I need to lose a bit of weight.
What do you mean?I don’t understand.
→ I don’t understand what you mean.
都是陈述语序噢!

要素3:时态
①主句是现在的时态,从句的时态可根据实际情况而定。
I hear that she has written three letters to the headmaster.
Mr Green says that the snow was very heavy last month.
I don’ t know who knocked at the door so loudly.
主现从任
②主句是过去的某种时态,从句一定要用过去的某种时态。
主过从过
At that time, we didn’t know why she had missed the flight.
He told me that he was watching a cartoon film at 10 o’clock this morning.
③如果宾语从句表述的是客观真理、自然现象等时,
不管主句是什么时态,从句都要用一般现在时。
He said that light travels much faster than sound.
Linda told us that the moon travels around the earth.

句型 2:主语 + 谓语动词 + + that-从句
e.g. The student reported to the teacher that he did not feel well.
Jack向老板解释说,他因为交通堵塞而迟到。
Jack explained to the boss that he was late because of the traffic jam.
(to)+间接宾语
主语 + 谓语动词 + 间接宾语 + 直接宾语
