1 Imperatives -learning Show a video about solutions to smartphone addiction. Watch the video, pay attention to the sentences in it and connect it to their lives. Arouse students’ interest in imperatives &smartphone addiction.
Tell students that Peter’s family make some special family rules to use phones properly and ask them to observe rules. Observe the family rules and try to summarize their characteristics. Introduce imperatives to students.
Talk about family rules one by one, divide them into different types and work out the usage and rules. Learn about imperative sentences& useful words. Know the usage of imperatives and learn to use phones properly.
Make a summary with students about imperatives. Make a summary with teacher about imperatives. Review imperatives.
Ask students to correct sentences and encourage them to write more imperatives. Do some exercises. Consolidate imperatives.
2 Exclamations -learning Show a dialogue between Peter and his classmate Tom talking about the family rules about phones. Read the dialogue and find sentences which show strong feelings. Feel about the emotions that exclamations show.
Talk about exclamatory sentences one by one and encourage students to work out the structures and rules. Learn about exclamatory sentences one by one and work out the structures and rules. Work out the rules and remember those who contribute in this epidemic situation.
