Learning Objectives: By the end of the class, students will be able to Know the structures and the usages of adverbial clauses of reason 2. Know the usages of “because, since, because of, for, as, That’s why, That’s because, The reason why.... is that.....” 3. Use Adverbial clauses of reason to ask for more information and express ideas.

Step 1: Warming-up Introduce why objects float in space Students explains the reason with “because” structure Lead in adverbial clauses of reason and arouse students’ interest in this class.
Step 2: Adverbial Clauses of Reason Learning 1. Ask students to watch a video which shows how to realize women’s right, and help to fill in the blanks with 2. From the context, ask students to compare the difference of phrases related to“because,since,as,for”and then find out the rules. 3. Play a song for students which is about differences of “because” and “because of” 4. Ask students to make dialogues according to the given information and transform sentences into wh-questions. 1. Students watch the video and fill in the blanks with some key words related to “because”. 2. Students compare some important expressions with “because,since,as,for”which appear in the conversation and find out the rules of them. 3. Students listen to a song and repeat them, feeling the differences. 4. Students finish the exercise given by teacher according to given example. 1. Guide students to predict what they may learn from the situation. 2. Guide students to conclude rules through comparison by themselves. 3. Arouse students' interest in grammar learning and put them into use. 4. Help students to put what they have learnt into use.
Step3: Indefinite Articles Learning 1. Show students more expressions to explain the reasons/ 2. Show students some examples about endangered animals and explain why they suffer from this. 1. Students understand better through an example exposing why creatures are in danger recently. 2. Students read and compare the examples and then conclude the rules by themselves. 1. Step 4: Exercise & Review 1.Exercise Ask students to finish exercise about adverbial clauses of reason. 2.Review Review with students about what we have learnt in this class using a mind-map. 1.Students work in groups to finish the exercise. 2. Students summarize the grammar knowledge with the help of the teacher. 1. Practise students’ cooperating ability and encourage students to put what they have learnt today into use. 2. Cultivate students' ability of summarization and review what they have learnt.
Step 5: Self- assessment Lead students to make a self-assessment. Students self-reflect what they have learnt in today’s class. Review what they have learnt today and summarize the class.
