一、教学目标
知识目标:
1.能够听懂、会唱本单元Let’s sing部分的歌曲。
2.复习巩固本单元所学数字1-20,并能在具体情境中进行运用。
3.能够听懂Story time小故事,学生能分角色表演。
技能目标:
1.培养学生在一定语境中运用所学语言进行交际的能力。
2.培养学生的观察力和想象力,激发学生的思维,培养学生运用语言的创造能力。
3.能够在课件的帮助下运用句型How many …do you have/see We have/see…询问或者谈论物品的数量。
情感目标:
培养学生自信意识及互相帮助的正能量,在教师的启发下,发掘从这个故事中懂得的道理。
二、教学重难点
教学重点:
让学生能够使用核心单词以及句子进行情景对话。
教学难点:
在情景对话中单词与核心句型的实践性应用。
三、教学策略
三年级是小学生学习英语的基础阶段,这一阶段的重要任务在于激发并保持学生学习英语的兴趣。因此,在设计课堂教学活动时一定要根据学生的情况,采用灵活多样的教学方法来吸引学生的注意,努力营造玩中学、学中玩的教学情境。课堂上尽量以鼓励表扬为主,鼓励学生开口说英语,让他们尝试成功的喜悦。

五、Teaching process:
Step 1. Warm –up
1. Sing a song 《One Two Three Four Five》.
2. What’s this song about (It’s about numbers.) Then review the numbers. Show me your fingers. Show me nine…
3. Free talk.
T: How old are you this year
S: I’m … years old .
T: How many rulers/pencils/bags/cars/balloons do you see/have
S: I see/have … rulers…
Step 2. Presentation.
1. Lead in: Just now we reviewed numbers. Now let’s share a story about numbers, Ok
T shows CAI and asks: Who are they Where are they What are they going to do
S: They are Zoom and zip. They are at the apple orchard. They are going to pick apples. They want to have a race.
T: Wow, so many apples. Yammy! Do you like apples Why
S: An apple a day keeps the doctors away.
T shows CAI: The race between the hare and the tortoise! They have a race. Who won at last
S: The tortoise won.
2. S watch the video of the story . Then the students follow the teacher to read the story.
T explains the key words and phrases: many, have a race, only, won. Then read them aloud.
3. S answer the questions:
How many apples does Zoom have
How many apples does Zip have
Who won the race
4. S read the story aloud in groups. T can join them.
Step 3. Practice and assessment.
T: Zoom and Zip had a race just now. Now let’s have a race in groups, OK
Then T divides S into four groups to act the story. According to the students’ performance, T and S can give each group corresponding evaluation. They can get 1~3 apples on the tree for their group on the blackboard.
Step 4. Summary and homework.
1. T: What do you learn from this story
(1)Look before you leap.
(2) A good method is half of success.
(3) Do the things in the right way.
(4) Tools are useful!
T can help S understand: If Zoom and Zip help each other, they can have more apples.
T assigns homework.
(1) Read the key words from eleven to twenty.
(2) Listen and repeat the story.
(3) Change the story, act it out, share the story to your family.
