a.m.和p.m.比一比
课文原句:It's 7:10 a.m. It's 8:10 p.m.
重点解析:
a.m.表示“上午;午前”;p.m.表示“下午;午后”。它们只能放在表示钟点的阿拉伯数字后面,并且都不能与in the morning以及in the afternoon连用,以避免重复。
两个地区地方时之间的差别称作为时差。
时差的计算方法:两个时区标准时间(即时区数)相减就是时差,时区的数值大的时间早。比如中国是东八区(+8),美国东部是西五区(-5),两地的时差是13小时,北京比纽约要早13个小时;如果是美国实行夏令时的时期,相差12小时。
