Summary
Dear editor(编辑),
I need your help. My name is Tracy. Today I read a story about Liangliang, an 11-year-old boy. He lives in a poor village. There is a river between his school and his village. There is no bridge on the river, and the river runs too quickly for boats. So he and his classmates have to go on a ropeway to cross the river to school. It’s really dangerous, although they’re not afraid.
I think we should help them. I will ask my friends to raise money for them. Can you help to ask more people to raise money I hope the government can build a bridge for the villagers.
Thank you!
Sincerely,
Tracy

III. Write a letter to Liangliang, telling him how you and your friends go to school, and how you will try to help them.
Dear Liangliang,
My name is Tracy. It’s really not easy for you to go to school. I want to be your friend. Let me tell you how my friends and I get to school.
It’s about 3 kilometers from my home to school. So I usually ride my bike to school. It takes about 20 minutes. But sometimes I take the bus, especially when it rains. Some of my friends walk to school, and others get to school in their parents’ car. It’s easy for us to go to school. So I’ll cherish what I have and study hard.
I think I can help you in some ways. I’ll raise money for you. And I believe the government will build a bridge in your village soon.
Best wishes to you.
Yours,
Tracy
