一.教材及学情分析:
通过PEP Book4 Unit1 My school的学习,学生已经学过学校设施方面的单词;另外,通过PEP Book4 Unit5 There is a big bed和Unit 6 In a nature park的学习,学生已经学过There be句型一般现在时的表达方法,以上这些为了本课描述学校设施话题积累了词汇和句型方面的素材;通过PEP Book8 Unit 2 Last weekend和Unit 3 When did you go两个单元的学习,学生已经知道如何运用一般过去时词汇、句型谈论过去的时间发生的相应人物活动。在本课时的学习中,教师只需让学生关注故事发生的语境,并用正确的句型给学生示范,就能帮助学生理解并初步掌握There be句型在一般过去时态下的使用特点,同时探究出在一般过去时和一般现在时态下两种句型的联系和区别。
二.教学目标
知识目标:
1.能理解Let’s try和Let’s talk对话大意,并能正确朗读Let’s talk所学对话。
2.能正确听、说、朗读句型There was/were(no)…,并运用句型描述某地过去的状态。
3.能在语境中理解生词或短语one day, look it up, in my time, Internet的意思和用法,并能正确发音。
能力目标:
通过形式多样的交际活动内化课文语言知识,能在图片的帮助下,在情景中运用There be句型,用3-5句话描述某个地方过去与现在的状态和变化。
情感态度、文化意识、学习策略目标:
1.能够关注生活中的变化,进一步形成热爱生活的良好品格。
2.能够了解人类首次登月的一些信息。
3.能够在积极思考和大胆创新的过程中,体验并归纳语言使用的规律,以解决问题的成就感促进学习热情。
三.教学重难点。
1.教学重点:能够在实际语境中正确交流运用重点句型There was/were…
2.教学难点:能够用所学句型交流和讨论事物过去和现在的变化。(突破方法:结合实际,运用所学句型练说,突破难点)
四.教学准备:
单词卡。
学校图片。
四线格磁条。
五.教学流程:
Step I Warm-up and lead in.
1. Greetings.
Good morning, boys and girls. Today I will introduce you a friend. She is Tina.

2. Show two photos, and describe them.
I have another photo. Who is she Yes, it’s me, too. I took this photo 10 years ago.

3. Show some photos of Fangxing Primary School.
