一、语言知识目标
1. 词汇:全体学生能理解并运用:was, then, were, young, old, hair, short, long;部分学生能运用:grandparent, so;
2. 句型:全体学生能听、说、认、读I was two then.
二、能力目标
1. 全体学生能初步认读并运用词汇: was, then, were, young, old, hair, short, long;
2. 全体学生能初步掌握“I was...”谈论过去事情和情况的表达;
3. 在听力和跟读活动中感知单词的重音和句子的重读。
三、情感态度
1.在学习新的语言结构时,敢于面对困难,遇到问题主动向老师或同学请教。
2.培养学生的观察能力,鼓励学生积极与他人合作,共同完成学习任务。
重点难点:
重点:能够听懂,会说,会运用句型I was _then. 来描述自己的过去,用You were so _.来描述他人过去的特征。
难点:能够运用am ,is , are 和was, were 来对比描述自己或他人过去和现在状态的变化。

课件,单词卡,Amy 和Lingling 的头像
教学过程:
Step1: Warming up.
1.Greeting.
2.Let's chant.
Tall, tall. I am tall. Short, short. He is short. Fat, fat. I am fat.Thin, thin. She is thin. Cute, cute. I am cute.Cool, cool. You are naughty.(边做动作边chant,激发孩子学习英语的积极性。同时整体感知am is are,在愉快的氛围中复习be动词的用法。利用单词卡学习新单词short)
3.Let’s play.I say“long”and you say “short”.

Free talk.教师出示一张自己小时的照片向学生介绍 Look at this photo; guess who is that little girl

T: Yes, I was 2 then. OK. Let’s come to Module 5Unit1 I was 2 then.(板书课题,学习新单词then)对比现在的照片,发现过去和现在的不同。
T:Look. I was 2 then. Now I am 26. My hair was short then. Now my hair is long.(学习单词hair和long)
教师出示一张祖父母的照片。向学生介绍They are my grandparents. (学习grandparent)对比现在的照片,发现过去和现在的不同。Look. They were very young then. But now they are old. (学习yong和old)

1.Watch and answer
T:Today, Amy went to Lingling’s house, and she saw lots of photos ,she was very interested in these photos, let’s have a look. ⑴播放活动二的动画视频,找出带有“was,were”的句子。听完后,老师请学生指出句子(小组竞争奖励)。
⑵再次播放视频,回答问题:
