一、教材分析
本课的教学内容是《新标准英语》(三年级起始)五年级下册Module6 Unit2 She visited the Tianchi Lake。本模块的主题是Travel,学生在五年级上册已学过用过去式谈论过去发生的事情,本单元是谈论假期曾经旅行过的地方,描述这个地方的方位,以及谈论在假期里曾经做过的事情。
2、 学情分析
五年级学生虽然处于高年级阶段,但仍然活泼好动,求知欲和表现欲强,喜欢直观思维和抽象思维相结合,对游戏、竞赛还有兴趣。他们通过两年的学习,已有一定的英语学习经验和积累,具有一定的英语能力。
3、 教学目标
1、知识目标
(1)能够听、说、认读单词及词汇: east best north rest have a rest rode(ride)
(2)学习语句: Xinjiang is in the west of China. She visited the Tianchi Lake.
2、 能力目标
能运用学过的知识谈论自己或他人的旅行情况。
3、 情感目标
乐于沟通,与同伴谈论旅行,从而获得相互关心的情感体验;培养学生良好学习习惯。

能运用学过的知识谈论自己或他人的旅行情况。
5、 教学方法及策略
在本课中我采用直观教学法、任务型教学法、多媒体辅助教学相结合的方式,激发学生学习英语的兴趣,提高课堂教学效率。

Step 1 Warm-up
1 Greetings
T: Good morning, boys and girls. I’m so glad to share this lesson with you. You can call me Miss Wang.
2 Listen and chant
① T: Today I bring you an interesting chant. Let’s listen.
② Listen to the chant together.
③T: There are some new words in this chant. Let’s learn them together.
③Teach the new words
④Say the chant and clap hands.
(设计意图:为了让下面的环节更好地衔接,我将chant这一环节放在了热身环节,通过拍手游戏增加了chant的趣味性。)
Step 2 Revision and lead-in.
T:We just had a holidays several days ago. I had a lovely time on holidays. I went to Xinjiang. Do you know where Xinjiang is
Ss: It’s in the west of China.
T:Do you know where is Beijing
S1:It’s......
T: I want to know about your holidays. (to S1)Where did you go for your holidays?
S1: I went to ….
T: Where is…
S1: It’s in the west / south of China.
T:Did you go with your parents
S1: Yes, I did.
Ask more students about their holidays.
T: Well, we have talked much about your holidays.Now,let’s talk about Lingling’s holiday. Last July Lingling went travelling ,Where did she go Let’s have a look.
(设计意图:本环节我主要用轻松愉快的谈话复习了上节课所学内容,并自然而然地将学生带入新课。)
Step 3 Presentation
1 Show the pictures of Lingling going travelling and have students guess where she went.
2 Have students describe what Lingling did according to pictures.
(设计意图:本环节让学生通过图片大致了解Lingling 的旅行经历,降低接下来的学习难度。)
Step 4 Listen and read.
1 T: Now let’s watch the video.
2 T: Read the passage by yourselves and try to find the answers to the following questions:
(1)Where did Lingling go for holidays
(2)Where is Xinjiang
(3) When did Lingling go to Xinjiang
(4)4.What did Lingling do
(6)Did she have a good time
4 Students read the passage together.
5 Have students complete the blank without books.
