教学过程:
一、课程导入
1、课前问答。
T: Do you like traveling Where do you want to go Why
唤醒学生的情感,让他们进行组内讨论。
2、复习导入
根据方位图说出方位单词。
二、新课展示活动和课程设计
1、新课展示Part A. Let’s talk。
展示Let’s talk部分的教学挂图,介绍对话的背景及内容:
T:Who are in the picture
Ss: David, Kitty and their mother.
T: That’s right. David, Kitty and their mother are having a meeting. They are talking about their holiday. Let’s watch the video.
教师提出问题,然后播放视频,让学生带着问题边听、边看、边思考。之后通过对学生的提问了解大家的理解情况。
出示句子,Hainan is in the south of China.领读并检查个别学生的朗读情况,然后请基础较好的学将单词抄写在黑板上。
1)Where is Hainan Can you find Hainan on the map
T\Ss: It’s in the south of China.
Remote places(天涯海角) Yalong bay(亚龙湾)

2)T\Ss: Where is Shanghai Can you find Shanghai on the map
T\Ss: It’s in the southeast of China.

板书并领读places of interest,之后再举例帮助学生理解:
Oriental Pearl TV Tower(东方明珠塔)is a place of interest in Shanghai.
The Old City God’s Temple(老城隍庙) is another place of interest in Shanghai.
The Bund(外滩) Disneyland(迪斯尼乐园)
2、课件出示:

3、确定学生基本理解大意后,播放本部分录音,让学生打开课本跟读对话,并在原文中划出上述问题的答案进行核对。
4、处理疑难点
(1)talk about:讨论,谈论
(2)教师通过课件播放视频,辅助以肢体语言帮助学生理解come on的意思。

三、巩固练习
(1) 请同学们说出各自在假期里曾经去过的城市,课件展示中国地图,教师带领学生们“地图之旅”,结合学生的语言运用能力进行简单的交流,为后期的语言生成进行铺垫:

四.操练活动的设计与实施建议(Practice Activities)
1、教师带领学生完整的朗读对话。
2、小组活动:请学生以组为单位,把各自准备的名胜图片收集在一起,然后盲抽,抽到哪张就以那张上的名胜作为话题进行会话。
3、教师参与小组活动,并对学生的对话进行点评,主要以鼓励和表扬为主。
