教材分析 本课承接上一个单元的内容，以书信的题材呈现文本。而文本内容主要运用了一般过去式和一般将来时两种时态。要求学生能用一般过去时描述过去发生或做过的事情；能用一般将来时描述计划安排的事情。
学情分析 五年级的学生已经掌握了一定的单词，也系统的学习了四种时态。所以对于学生来说，这一节既是一节新授课，也是巩固和拓展课。
教学目标 语言知识 （1）掌握本节课的关键单词与短语。（2）搞懂文本内容
语言技能 （1）提升学生阅读技能，培养学生扫读与精读技能，学会找关键词等。（2）提升学生写作技能，学生在一定的语言支架下，运用一般过去时和一般将来时书写一封信。
