Language points
1. Don’t arrive late for class.
arrive作不及物动词,意为“到达”,其后不能直接跟宾语,后常接in或at。
例:你什么时候到达武汉?
When do you arrive in Wuhan
我们准时到达了车站。
We arrived at the station on time.
arrive 不及物动词,后接大地点用in,小地点用at。
reach 及物动词,意为“到达”,后直接跟地点。
get to 后接名词,常用于get to+地点名词。
“三到达” 辨析(arrive, reach 与get to )
当arrive和get后接地点副词,如here, there或home等时,介词要省略。
例:上周他们到了北京。
They arrived in Beijing last week.
They reached Beijing last week.
They got to Beijing last week.

listen 作不及物动词,意为“听;倾听”,

6. wear a hat.
wear 意为“穿;戴”,表示状态,后面的宾语为“衣服或饰物等可穿戴的东西”。
例:天气够冷,可以穿皮外套了。

辨析 (wear, put on, dress与in)
wear 动词,“穿着;戴着”,表示状态。其宾语可以是衣帽、饰物、奖章等。
put on 动词短语,“穿上;戴上”,强调动作,即由没穿到穿这一过程的完成。其宾语是衣服、鞋帽等。
dress 动词,可表示动作或状态。常用人作宾语,意为“给……穿衣服”。
get dressed=dress oneself “自己穿衣”
be dressed in 表状态
dress up 强调刻意打扮,意为“穿上盛装;乔装打扮”
in介词,“穿着;戴着”。后接表示衣服或颜色的词,着重于服装的款式或颜色。
