Lanzhou Noodles is a well-known Lanzhou dish. It was created in Qin Dynasty. Because all the noodles are pulled by hand, it is also called the Hand-Pulled Noodles.

Beijing Duck
Beijing Duck is also known as Beijing Roast Duck. It is a famous, delicious dish in China with a history of 1,600 years.
The duck should be roasted (烤)in an oven(烤炉) burning fruit wood.
The pancakes, Chinese onions(大葱),cucumbers(黄瓜)and special sauce are used to complement(补充;为......增色).

(Jenny) Hello, everyone! I just got back from a trip to the Silk Road in China.
Everything was great — especially the food!
My favourite dishes were Beijing Duck and Lanzhou noodles. What’s so special about these two dishes
Well, they have a lot of history behind them. Beijing Duck is really a Chinese treasure. It takes a lot of work, but the end product is worth it. Lanzhou noodles are long hand made noodles. They look good and taste great! Do you want to taste these wonderful foods from China
(Dora) Your story is very interesting. I saw a show about Lanzhou noodles on TV. The man made the noodles so fast. It was like magic!
(Monica) I heard that, in China, some people eat noodles for breakfast. Is this true
(Jenny) Yes, it’s true. Many people eat noodles for breakfast. Sometimes they eat them for lunch or supper, too. And I know why —they taste REALLY good!
(Paul) I once had Beijing Duck in our city. Can I find

be worth + 名词/代词表示“值得......”

4. Lanzhou noodles are long hand-made noodles. (教材P26)
hand-made是复合形容词, 意思是“手工的”。

taste v. 尝起来; 品尝; 体验
taste作系动词, 意思是“尝起来”, 后面加形容词作表语。
【例句】
This kind of soup tastes delicious.
这种汤尝起来很好喝。
类似taste用法的系动词还有look, smell, sound, feel等。
6. Is this true (教材P26)
true adj. 意思是“真实(的); 真正的”, 表示与已知事实相符, 不是发明或编造出来的。
【例句】
This is a true story.
这是一个真实的故事。
【拓展】
real的意思与true相近, 但二者有区别。real意为“真的; 真实的”。指人的感官觉得某物像真的, 多指真实存在的, 而不是想象出来的。
【例句】
Was it real or was it a dream
这是真的还是个梦

【例句】
Sometimes I go for a walk with my mom after dinner.

sometimes在句中的位置比较灵活, 对其提问要用how often引导的特殊疑问句。

辨析:sometimes, sometime, some time与some times
sometimes 有时 频度副词, 多用于一般现在时的句子中
sometime 在某时 表示不确切或尚未确定的时间, 既可表示过去的时间也可表示将来的时间
some time 一段时间 名词短语, 此时time是不可数名词, 意为“时间”
some times 几次(倍) 此时time是可数名词, 意为“次; 倍数”
