Step1：Class Opening

3. A brief review of yesterday’s lesson. (translate some phrases.)
Step2 New Concepts
1.Free talk : Talk about summer.
T: What do you like to do in summer
S:I like to eat ice cream／eat watermelon／go on a trip／go to the beach…
T: well, class. We can do lots of things in summer, yes Today, we are going to have an interesting topic: Have a good summer! 板书课题
T：Read the title. What is the title about
S: It’s about plans for summer holiday.
T: What will you do during Summer Holiday Do you have any plans
S: I’m going to visit some famous places.
S: I will / am going to do some sports such as playing basketball or tennis
S: I will go swimming or play games.
2. Listen to the tape.
1)Play the tape for Lesson 43. Play it once and ask the students to listen .
2)Ask some questions:
What did Jenny and Danny do
Where will Danny go for the summer holiday
What is Danny going to do for the summer holiday .
3) Check the answers.
3.Learn the new words: final, exam, tennis.
4.Translate some phrases.(英汉互译).
5. Read the text.
1) Read by yourselves.
2) Role-play: Boys act Danny, girls act Jenny.
3) Complete Danny’s Diary in Let’s Do It!
4)Read Danny’s diary together.
6.Practice: Make a dialogue.
1) Ask students to make a dialogue in pairs:
A: What are you going to do in summer
B: I am going to ……／I will……
2) Ask three pairs to act their dialogues.(展示对话)
