常用句型一：由as 引导的非限制性定语从句
As(宾）we(主）have known(谓），Marco Polo is American.
As(主）is mentioned (谓),Marco Polo travelled all around China.
常用句型二：由who 或which 引导的非限制性定语从句
Marco Polo, who(主）was (系）an Italian (表），travelled all around China.
Marco Polo, who(主）travelled(谓）all around China(状），was an Italian.
非限制性定语从句翻译时通常译成一个并列句，其形式往往可以用and ..替代
I met a boatman,who took me across the river.
I met a boatman,and he took me across the river.
They will fly to Kunming, where they will stay for two or three days.

先行词和关系词的关系
A plane is a machine.

第一种变法：
主句：The remarks were brilliant.
从句：He made remarks on the famous film.
→The remarks that/ which he made on the famous film were brilliant.
第二种：
→ The film is famous. (主句）
He made brilliant remarks on the film.
→The film which/ that he made brilliant remarks on is famous.
3.He thought of an important way to deal with it.
→The way was important.（主句）
He thought of a way to deal with it.
→ The way (which/ that) he thought of to deal with it was of great importance.
翻译
1.这是那个众所周知的电影。
This is the film which is well-known to us.
2.这是那个叫泰坦尼克号的电影。
This is the film whose name is Titanic.
3.你看到的图片里的两个人是Jack和Rose。
The two people whom you see in the picture are Jack and Rose.
